Off Topic / Upgrading Your System for MxO

Do you NEED a laptop? If you're looking to play MxO, I would highly recommend looking into desktops. I had a laptop the first two years of college. I have just recently upgraded to a desktop and find it much more suitable for what I need. I got mine through Dell, and it cost $1800:

3.2ghz
1gig RAM
256MB Radeon 9800 XT
120GB Hard Drive
17" monitor

Obviously this would be overkill for the average user. If you're looking for something cheap, find a desktop with decent specs. Desktops are easily upgradable, so if you need to upgrade something, you can.

Off Topic / Philosophical views

I took Philosophy last semester, and it might as well have been Descartes 101. Philosophers have basically come up with a system that allows no one the chance to prove anything. Nothing is real unless you can prove it is real, and since many argue there is no way to prove something is real (since perception can be tampered with), then nothing can be proven. In the end nothing is really accomplished besides a big headache. It's interesting for a while, but it would make more sense if things could actually go somewhere.

I work until 9 p.m. every night (Central timezone), so I HIGHLY doubt I'll have the time. I do encourage all who are interested, however, to take part. The Furious Angels would be willing to sponsor the event - making announcements, etc. Best of luck with it! If I have the time, I will try to at least sit in on a few sessions!
