The code for the header is tied into AutoTheme, and we can't find what would kill the border without killing the whole header. The images themselves are tied to all the block images, so if we make them invisible images, we lose the border around everything.

If we use that banner, we should probably switch out the borders as well, yes?

The borders can easily be made to resemble the banner.  But I suggest they be made slightly different so the design does not appear to be overused.  I'll provide an example later tonight.

I still think the black angel symbol should be reconsidered, for the reasons I stated.

I looked at the source and saw this site is assembled from tables and not divs. And I cried.

Here's an example of new borders, slightly more subdued than the banner.  I also updated the text on the menu banners to see how it looked.  If possible, I'd like to fix the borders on those images so that they are truly rounded.

I really like that, but at the same time it doesn't fit well at all with the main picture in the middle. It has sharp edges that jut out dramatically when compared with your bubble boxes.

That would be fixed.

The images have round edged, but they're all layered against a black square which fills in the curves, making them appear to have sharp corners.

Yeah, I tried to look at the source to see if I could make any suggestions based on that. I also cried at the tables. What CMS is being used to run the site? I've been playing with Drupal for a few months, and it is a great CMS to run a community from.
