English/Iliad help?

Ok here's my issue. I have to read the Iliad for english class..... Im reading about 50 pages a day until school starts (the 15th) Im already about half way done with it... but I'm having a bit of trouble getting my who did what and what the hell happened list straight... if anyone has read that, can you just give me your interpretation of the story in a nutshell so I can check that against my notes? Thanks and much appreciated!

:p I worry a lot... I just have to write an essay on this and another book, and the names are like friggin anime.... i cant remember them so i cant remember who did what and why and to who -.- I remember, this one side is fighting this other side, and zeus cant make up his damn mind of who to back, and Achilles r0x0rz my b0x0rz cause he was cool in the movie Troy.... oh and Agamemnon is fat. That too. But I should do fine... i hope.

yes but unfortunately watching tv doesnt get you an A in honors english, doesnt get you a scholarship so you can go to a nice school even though you have poor ass parents, and it doesnt get you a good job. I want to go to school in new york and my parents are poor as shit. So i need to work twice as hard so i not only get accepted but i get a scholarship. -.- But dont fret blue, il see you one day, asking me if i want fries with that.

what you get in High School doesnt decide what job you get. Unless of couse you failed High School.
