I just re-read Tbone's post in the MxO forums & got an idea...

A battle between Factions or even Organizations, full-scale.  Not on Valentine's Day, but around there somewhere.  If everyone thinks this is a good idea, we might want to go ahead & begin internal planning & at least reserve the name/idea on the forums in the near future.

We can iron out the details later, but I wanted to share my (I think) brilliant idea...

I won't vote, as I am clearly biased...

I think that idea has definite possibilities.

Seeing that FA was well represented in this most recent battle (and hopefully will get some good press thanks to tbone's post) we could get a large number of interested parties.

Since this would be in the Construct how would it work?  Would it be a true free for all? Or would there be some form of battle order/control?

How would dissidents and disruptors be dealt with?

Given the enjoyment and success of last nights event, I am sure that this one will succeed as well.

I like the idea of battles between factions or organizations.  It's a good oppotunity to socialize and polish your fighting strategies.

Unfortunately the lag kills the fun for me.  The game rarely lags for me in normal circumstances but in last night's battle, with this concentration of characters, the lag was way too bad.  Going from full health to dead while your lagging and having a hard time just walking around is a pain.

So until the devs greatly improve this situation, I'll probably stay away from those battles.  At least as a participant.  I'll just be on the sidelines and watch.
