(Sorry for posting this here, but not many people pay attention to the Off-Topic threads)

Okay, so I had to do a final project for Film Production class for the end of this semester. The only parameters was that it could be as many shots as you wanted, but not much longer than 60 seconds (Yes, I'm aware it runs over a little...sue me).
I thought it would be very appropriate if I shared this with you all since...well...you'll see when you watch it.
Extra brownie points if you can tell me where I got the music from.
I chose to hack off one last shot at the end, and the credits (you all don't need to know my bluepill name), so this isn't really a complete version--hence the “FA Edit” tag. But it will still make sense even without the ending…

If you’ve got a faster connection, I recommend you grab the High-Quality version (well, I recommend you grab it anyway, since the Low-Quality one obviously sucks ass). But if you can’t get around it, the Low-Quality one is alright…

Mad props to Fuse for providing the video hosting. Hopefully his shouldn't drain up too much bandwidth:

High Quality (65 megabytes):

Low Quality (8.6 megabytes):
http://fuse.gotdns.com/FA/MidnightMeadows/Duality%20-%20FA%20Edit%20(Low%20Quality).wmv

(Just for reference, this was shot before I got my hair cut for Anime Expo this summer, so it bears a striking resemblance to a mop. Nothing like what it usually is...)

I judge from the nonresponsiveness that either:
A) People have been unsuccessful in retreiving the files from Fuse's FTP, or something transfer-related...
B) Nobody gives a crap...
C) The film was so bad that you've been left utterly horrified and speechless....

Something has been fucked with the web server, so it'll be better to use an FTP prog. I'll work on it now.

Very interesting. I like the muzzle flash matching to the movements. I can only speculate that you were using LiveType and Final Cut Pro for those. I also like how you matted the shot of you looking at yourself, that was rather cool.

Overall, I give it about an 8/10

Only because some if has some exposure problems.

And the music is from the battle at the Chateau in Matrix Reloaded. Rec'nize.

*lays some brownie points down on Kayda* Glad you thought it was decent.
I actually happen to use Adobe Premiere Pro for all of my video editing needs...
Muzzle flashes were still a bitch to do, going in frame by frame and shifting and adjusting them ever so slightly.
I had fun busting out the editing and camera tricks so it would look like two of me were standing 10 feet from each other at the same point in time.  =P

Again, this was a super rush-job, so that I would not fail my film class. I couldn't get a suitable actor on short notice, therefore I was forced to use myself, and I barely found someone to hold the camera for me.
I shot it entirely in one afternoon, and edited it the following night.

Ummm.. more brownie points up for grabs if you can name what kind of loadout I used when I was doing the fight... >=D

I think the brownie points are going to have to go to Sared for spotting the RCT bonuses from Knife Thrower.
