VR Gaming / Half-Life 2 VR mod

The Half-Life 2 fan created VR mod released yesterday. I've only put 2 hours in so far, but it is glorious. It's like playing Half-Life 2 for the first time all over again.

Hey all, I haven't been on in a couple of months and just wanted to drop in an say HI! I'm doing 19 credit hours for the 3rd semester in college for my degree in Industrial Electricity, plus I started a wood working/crafting business at the beginning of summer. www.307craftworks.com

I hope to have some time soon to get on and play with you all! My brain is fried and could use it.

VR Gaming / Joystick an Valkyrie

So I was in Office Depot yesterday, and saw a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I've been wanting to get a joystick for Valkyrie, this one looked fully customizable, so I grabbed it. It was $32, so not high nor low end.

It was easy to set up and install. Valkyrie supports it and has in game keybinds for it. In game it was smooth as butter. Every button and motion on it is available for binding. I've still got some tweaks to do to it for my binds to be right, but it works flawlessly.

General / Using glasses with the Rift

I wear glasses, and it always takes me a couple of adjustments to get the vision right while wearing my Rift. Also, I haven't found a position yet that doesn't push my glasses into my face. Anyone have good luck wearing glasses with their headset that has some good tips? Has anyone tried the insertable lenses?
