Star Citizen - Gamescon 2015 Presentation
« on: August 08, 2015, 12:54:13 pm »
It's been a while since I posted anything in regards to Star Citizens.

This is the presentation from Gamescon that took place in Germany on 8/7/2015.

From the 1:23 mark on the video, they are showing the multi crew ship functions and mission.

Man this game is amazing already,  I just bought into the alpha and bought me a ship. I've been flying around doing some stuff the last couple days.. I'm already blown away. The flight model is incredible and once you get your hotas setup programmed the game comes alive. I can't wait until It has oculus support. When this game is finished I will probably live in this game.

It is going to be amazing game to play! I've been preaching it for the past couple years.

Add me as a friend through the SC website, Maglorius is my name on the site.

Not to necro a post but, does TFA plan on having a serious presence in Star Citizen or should I look for a squadron to join outside of Fa? just checking.

I know Maglorius and a few others will be playing regardless. I'm still waiting for an official VR version instead of an "add on" that they hope to throw together. As of now I still need to get things set up for Elite: Dangerous.

Where have you been, Saint? We've been getting on TS regularly for Rift play!

I know, I'm just a little bummed, there didn't really seem to be a large selection of games to play. I know its started to get a little better now.  But I've been playing star citizen mostly.  What have you guys been playing?

On a differnt note, I'm using Voice Attack software for playing star citizen. But it could be programed for any game really.  I can see how it would really help out in VR as well. Its really amazing software really. You can program about anything you want it to do, its like a second controller.  Works great with HCS voice packs. If you are going to be playing Elite dangerous, check out the hcs packs below.. really awesome.

Like T said, most will be playing SC with or without VR support. With that said, Chris Roberts said in January that CIG priority for VR was pushed up significantly for this year.

Having TFA presence in SC would be nice considering the game will be focusing on a lot of multiplayer functions along with massive corporations/guilds.

Saint, add me to your friends list in SC.

I've played around with VA while playing SC, it works great.
