I'm still getting paid to test some pretty cool games!

Yeah, my hope would be that it would end up on Netflix as 4k streaming or something. Or I can find a copy and deal with the downsampling and still get the other benefits.

Hmm. My girlfriend hasn't seen all of them yet. Maybe we should wait for this release (if they end up doing them all).

It's on sale for $30. If you've used the Rift recently, you should have also received a $15 store credit. As a result, a bunch of us are gonna grab OrbusVR for $15. It's a VRMMORPG. Don't expect WoW level of polish, but it should hold some interesting group content at the very least!

News and Announcements / Patch Released for Broken Rifts
« on: March 08, 2018, 07:05:11 pm »
A patch has been released by Oculus for the broken Oculus Rifts. If you are getting an error when trying to boot up the device, please download and install the patch. The patch will manually update your certificates.

Those affected by the error (anyone who has used their Rift since February 1, 2018) will receive $15 of Oculus store credit as well!

It is good that we are involved in the question that came up.

Solid post!

Alert! Rifts are currently not working due to an expired certificate! Oculus has been working on a fix all day. Will keep you updated!

Is there a way to actually track these personal stats?

We recently started playing "From Other Suns", a three player co-op VR game. It requires a lot of teamwork and learning how things work, so we are having fun. Once you "die" (lose all your crew members), you start all over again. However, certain achievements unlock permanent benefits even with a new game. Here's the list I've found:

50 pirate away missions - legendary scattershot mk1 (325dmg)
50 robot away missions - legendary shock burst mk1 (253dmg)
125 crimson marauder pirates - legendart plasma explosive mk1 (325dmg 32ammo)
150 unaffiliated pirates - legendary auto pistol mk1 (144dmg 260ammo)
450 (150+300) unaffiliated pirates - legendary auto pistol mk2 (260dmg 300ammo)
300 robots - legendary shock disc mk1 (217dmg)
get back to earth - corvette class ship (called "asa radiance" )
get 20 crew from missions - legendary laser beam (163dmg 195ammo)
50 pirate captains - pirate corvette mk3 (ship)
500 Jumps - Corvette ship
Destoy 100 Pirate Ships - Pirate Skimmer (ship)

Mixing it up a bit and trying this workout. It's full body, three times a week. Ideally I'll burn more calories and give my muscles a bit more time to rest. On off days I'll still do my HIIT on the bike as well as Ab Ripper. Dumbbells are up to 37.5 now. I think I can add more weight to it for most exercises, but the curls are the real test. I may up the weight but then go lighter for the isolation exercises like curls. It's just kind of a hassle to be adding and removing weight each time.

This comes after doing research on full body versus split workouts. I've now survived the holidays and am at 177.8 lbs. Not bad considering the Thanksgiving and Christmas break and that I've been focusing more on muscle building.

I was curious about how much I'm spending on supplements. After totaling it up, the price is definitely worth it for the benefits I'm getting. I just ordered L-Citrulline and Creatine, so we'll see if they make the cut. I'm probably going to make this into a larger post about everything you need to workout from home and what it would cost you to get started and maintain.

*Whey Protein - $21/mo
L-Citrulline Malate - $10/mo
Creatine - $3/mo
Casein Protein - $28/mo

TOTAL: $34-55/mo

*Fish oil - $10/mo
*Vitamin D - $1.25/mo
Zinc - $2/mo
Magnesium - $4/mo

TOTAL: $17.25/mo

Probiotic - $10/mo
Psyllium Husk - $3/mo

TOTAL: $13/mo

Upright Bike - $130
100 lb Dumbbells - $100

Waking Up/Hour Before Workout: Protiotic, L-Citrulline Malate (6g)
Pre-Workout: (1/2) Whey and Creatine
Post-Workout: (1/2) Whey and Creatine
Lunch: Fish Oil, Vitamin D
2 Hours After Meal: Zinc
1 Hour Before Sleep: Magnesium, Casein
Before Bed: Psyllium Husk (1.5-3g)

SWTOR is so dead.
Last time I had tried it they had redesigned the whole skill tree and all my abilities were gone and I wasn't even sure how to rebuild my character. Kinda turned me off. I've been playing Secret World Legends, now!
