Hey, porn's not that bad, at least I don't think so.  Spanish, on the other hand, is awful.  They didn't even invent Tacos.  Wait, this isn't the Silly Board, sorry.

that sucks i got Mcafee virus scan and it keeps me from getting viruses and if it detects one it will quarantine or delete it if it can. though i've never heard of the one you are talking about.

Firewall, firewall, firewall.  For the most recent virus, Sasser, it actually looked to see if users had open ports that it could use.  So if you didn't have a firewall or the MS security update, you were likely a victim.

well my brother thought it might be sasser, so i got the fix for it but it didn't find anything. i've run spybot, ad-aware, norton anti-virus and a couple other anti-virus programs and the programs are still there. i'm not sure what the hell they are but they're causing some lag on my comp. the only time they aren't running is in safe mode. :\

if any of you have some other suggestions, please let me know. i really don't want to format.

the progs are: Grr9V5vG.exe, Xlo4l60H.exe, Soa8O.exe, HwcM.exe and a couple of others.
they aren't all running at once. if i close one, a different one  opens. it's driving me nuts :\

Find the files and delete?  If not, it's reformat time.  They may even be program files, and that program is corrupt.  Try disabling startup items in msconfig.

i already tried looking for them, and i've disabled the startup too. the only thing i could find with the same names were prefetch files (.pf) which i deleted but they only came back.

Yeah just wipe it and start again, only get porn from registerd outlets and never trust Kazaa or any other P2P programs they are all full of viruses and worms and other stuff, its the main reason that sasser virus has spread so fast.

www.d-m-a-n.com you can download virtually anything from there, with no 3rd party programs that can infect your comp.
