Transformers Movie

http://www.transformersmovie.com/main.html

You have got to check out the Trailers for this movie (if you haven't already).  I highly suggest you watch the "Annoucement Trailer" first and then watch the "Teaser Trailer"; just for effect.

And yes, I am a product of the Transformers Generation... Robots in Disguise bitches...lol

Technik gave us that link a few weeks ago. I rewatched it earlier today actually. It'll probably be a decent enough movie.... even tho the trailer is a total Independence Day rip off.

I didn't think I'd care to see this until I saw the new trailer.  Sah-weet.  I hear that the same guy that voiced Optimus Prime in the show is doing the voice for the film.  Can anyone confirm?

Confirmed. :D Peter Cullen

In fact, if you watch the trailer on www.transformersmovie.com, you hear him say something towards the end. ;)

EDIT: Oh, and notice the 2009 Camaro in the trailer? That's Bumblebee! He starts off as a trashed early '70s Camaro, then somehow becomes the 2009 Camaro. :D They actually made three 2009 Camaros out of three GTOs, since the only 2009 Camaro available is the concept. Barricade's (a Decepticon AKA Bad Guy for those who don't know ;) ) vehicle mode is a black Steeda. Ford didn't want to be the bad guy with Chevy being the good guy, so the producers used a Steeda instead because Ford can't say anything. Tricky tricky. ;)

I miss the Takara designs on the Transformers... I'm just worried about how the movie will end up, but I did like The Island and this movie was made on an Air Force base, well parts of it, and also stars real Airmen so thats a good enough reason. Looks kick ass regardless, I just don't want to put too much hype into this like I have with some of the other 'blockbuster' hits that failed to meet expectations. So yeah lowering my expectations so that I find it more enjoyable when I do see it.

Barricade first featured in 1990 as part of a Decepticon race track patrol team, his vehicle mode was a formula one racing car.

Barricade is the commander of the team and pushes the other members. His only fictional appearance is in the Dreamwave comics Micromaster series.

A new HD trailer exclusive from yahoo is up. You actually see the transformers transforming a little in this one.

http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/transformers.html;_ylt=Ag7nD4U_PTJ7WWTxEfAxzHtfVXcA

At first I wasn't too excited about this movie but it is looking really good. Now we need to wait and see if it is going to push the envelope with an R rating or pussy out to PG-13.
