hey Eroz you ever hear of that compnay Veritas, ithey use to or still do make games and software, well anyway I jave 2 shirts from a friend who use to be in the software sales business and that shirts say Rev is up with Veritas hehe, so thats kinda my Veritas shirt.

I am a little hesitant to put ship names because so many people are still switching around. (I only put it for me, because I will only leave Veritas in a body bag.)

eroz i was just about to say something about the ships .... it sould be better to just have the FA logo and then our alias
everytime i think of an FA shirt, i think black hoodie with green wings on the back, alias down the sleeve, FA logo small on the front. maybe the red feather next to the logo on the front. or use that basic idea and make the same general template for tshirt, long-sleeved tshirt, and hoodie. meh

anyways on shirts... def.. i wouldn't mind a hoodie except i live in miami fl ( oh noes the spies know where i live =x )
and it's hot as hell down here. The idea in general i love though... wish i lived somewhere colder so i could use the hoodie.

It all depends on color and quantity ordered (buy in bulk and get cheaper prices per shirt obviously) mainly.... On average I am seeing $25+ prices per hoodie similar to eroz's design.

i tried that customink thing and 1) the "black" of theirs was grey so it looked retarded :P and 2) the pic for the back showed up really small so meh
i found that writing out matrix code is like trying to draw a celtic knot free-hand .... d'oh, not doing that anymore. i got bored writing out random numbers so i write a few things in hex and put some phone numbers randomly in there :P

Wow... those designs look really cool... i like the orginal version of the back personaly... If this accually works out I'd definatly buy one... and maybe you could have the alias down one sleeve and Furious Angels down the other...

im not too fond of the whole °wings° concept....i enjoyed the red feathers a lot more, maybe the symbol and furious angels on the breast, code fade into the red feathers, name down the sleeve or name on the back across the neck or something. then, www.followtheangel.org on the back at the bottom, pretty much on the butt, since thats where most guys eyes will go anyway when grim wheres it, so might as well give them something to read while their down there.

Whatever you decide to do, I could use a hoodie right about now! But a rain coat would benefit me more than anything else. It's always too cold and no rain or too much rain and warm. It's never perfect here! :2'( Oh well, I need a new rain coat anyway since the rain will come around a lot in about a month from now. :|

I, for one, appreciate the work you did, grim. I really like the wings and the concepts you have.
I think out of the different avarioatons of the wings + "FA" thing, the 5th or 6th ones are probably the best, most readable, and fit with the style of FA.

ok since i'm new I dont really know much, but would love to be a part of the community as much as possible. What is the status of the hoodies? Let me know when they are and if they are going to be for sale and i'll send my money for one A.S.A.P. Also another good idea for something with the logo would be a hat or beanie.

Man, I live in texas. Our winter is 75 degrees. We wear hoodies 364 days of the year, we dont care if its hot. That one day is valentines day which you shouldn't be wearing anything at all. You should just stay in bed with your significant other.

Well if you love the cold so much you can go live on Mars where the average temperature is 0 degrees fahrenheit..... If you love warmth take a trip to Venus, 932 degrees should make you nice and crispy.

Ok... back on topic, Hats and other small accessories sound good, but the main thing we would have to look at is price and how many people are actually INTERESTED in buying a hoodie. Every company that I have checked out (even some where I live) say that the price is noticeably higher when you make a small order. If you buy in bulk you save quite a bit per hoodie. The possibility of ordering them one by one or small increments would be too costly. On the other side, somone who makes the order for the hoodies will recieve them all.... and will in turn have to ship each hoodie to the Angel who ordered it (added shipping fee).

At that point we could look into shipping them to the other Angels as postage due, but then how would returned material work?

i say stick to a t-shirt, everyone wears them, goes along with people who live in a igloo and people who live in a straw house, or a catbed for that matter. me personally if its 932 degrees F or absolute zero which is quite fucking cold, im wearing shorts, once i get my pictures up on iphoto ill send a picture of me in the snow of switzerland in my shorts :) and i went snowboarding in shorts too :)

Quantity is inversely proportional to cost. The mroe you buy, the cheaper they are.
We just need to find someone who has a friend in the shirt/hoodie business. I wouldn't mind chipping in a bit extra to get FA to a cheaper price range.

We'll organize a contest. Who ever wins the design contest (which will be voted on by all members) will get the hoodie or tshirt for free. I haven't been home in 2 days really so when the dust settles on this recent drama in my real life (I lost every single last bit of my company data back ups and all... yeah pretty weak.) I'll get to the organizing... it sucks tho cause im missing out on the story event... but meh... I gotta get this shit fixed. Ugh... these guys want 3 grand to do a raid recovery.

Check this place out http://www.embroiderynet.com/ They seem to do everything from hats, sweatshirts, t-shirts, hoodies, polos. Great prices and name brand materials.
Also just my 2 cents Don't get a transfer, they look horrible on hoodies. Go with embroidery or silk screening. Just as reasonable as transfers.

eh, i think that if we do black anything, if it is cheap enough we can order to please each member. if we specialize them, for example put our names on them, i think our ingame name is ALL we should put. putting hovercrafts on there i am highly against mainly because we shift so much from craft to craft as well as adding new ships. the same goes for our KOS, that's not really public knowledge to begin with, it's between us and that faction, and that will change as well. best to put things on the shirt that will remain static, like our ingame name at most, furious angels, and www.followtheangel.org. those three things are least likely to change. if it is cheap enough to order different styles, hoodies, tshirts, whatever, then it should also be cheap enough to order the individual names. if it's too expensive, ditch the names, just have furious angels and the website with a logo. if we do individual things, it is up to each individual as to how much they are willing to pay for their own item. if they want a hoodie and a tshirt, they will be expected to pay for that themselves. if we go with one of those make-your-own things, once we decide on something, everyone goes in, makes their own, pays for their own, has it shipped to them, game over. that's all i have to say about that.
likwid, if we have a contest, i already spent a ton of time making the logos on the first post in this thread. do i win a prize? :D

it depends on where we order from. if we do somewhere where we give everyone a template and they order their own, i'm sure the company will send overseas. hell, half of the basic shirts are probably made in taiwan anyway! (no offense to overseas people, it's more of a trash on US, we can't even make our own flags or flag pins .... dumb people and their cheap labor, sheesh)

It would probably have to go like this:
We would find one single design with no in game names or ship names or anything...
The cost of printing would probably be cheaper this way. 1 design. 1 bulk order.
Who ever makes the bulk purchase would then be incharge of taking payments and shipping to all members who want one.
Grim. I would say take your favorite design and tweak it up and we'll put it in the submission pile to be voted on. Let me find a good priced vendor (maybe even one that's local so we only have to pay for shipping once instead of twice) and then I'll get the design template and then we'll start the design contest.
I figure who ever's design gets the vote of the faction gets a free shirt. we might mark up each hoodie a buck to cover the cost of the freebie.

Could someone wset up a pay pal system where we could order our shirts and stuff, and if everything fell through, for whatever reason, people could get there money back? That way, people could "pre-order" if you will, and people can put the sizes they want. This way, whoever is ordering the shirts also wouldn't have to front all of the money. If say half of us preorder, that should be enough to get a good sized order and whoever ordered could put up for the cost of say 10 or 15 shirts, and sell them on paypal as well. i know its a lot oof work to ask one person, but this is something we've wanted to do for a while, and the really good things in life dont come easy. Another option would be to do a pre-order only setup. This has two major benefits. The first bieng that it doesn't require anyone to front money for any shirts other than their own. If we include shipping and handling, we may even be able to have the company we order from mail them out for us. Also, this is a risk free set up as long as we trust whoever holds the paypal account. We all put our money in, and if the company jacks up the prices on us (as I have seen many shirt companies try to do) or there is a shipping problem, the person holding the paypal account can cancel all of the orders, and all of the money will be refunded to the credit cards. Ok, Im done rambling, just my thoughts.

WTF? likwidtek started this clan? Tbone was the only one that started this clan. Enoc join at the conception and Zero joined a day later. I then joined a week after that. Then Jester and ArchNemesis and then I think it was LightSpeed (AKA DoubleOhZero AKA Lithium) Then likwidtek was about a week after that. (I think thats all that is left.)
