So last night I went to the opening of "Way of the World" at Shakespeare Theatre Company. During intermission I was chatting with some of my friends when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and it was none other than Dagonet!
We talked for a good bit and then we hung out some more at the cast party with an open bar! I'm gonna hang out with him some more and try and convince him to dust off his laptop and hang out with us!
-
Haha, that's sweet! I was waiting for you to say "Broin" after you were tapped on the shoulder. Thinking back, though, you wouldn't be telling us if you met with Broin.
Anyway, get Dag's bitch ass back here, T! He can't be so whipped that he's not allowed to play his computer or so busy that he's hardly ever able to get onto the website.
-
His wife was like "get him out of the house!". LOL
-
Sneaky little devil! How awesome is that?
-
nice, tell him we need at least one wedding photo too.
-
I miss the Dagonet....
-
Oh captain my captain?
-
that's strange, I must have misplaced my invite..hmm...where could it be?
-
Oh Dag...how I miss thee...
-
Oh Dag...how I miss thee...
I spy, with my little eye, a person in TS who hasn't been in TS for a while.
I'll give you three guesses as to who it may be.

Me?

Well let him know he is missed and hope to atleast hear him on ts...
-
Yeah....
The french bugger.
:x

I tried to invite you out the other night, but I never heard back from you. I need to hang out with some guy friends - these girls are a lot of drama recently...lol.
-
how many of you are in the washington (DC!!!!!!!) area? I want to go out there next march or so and wondered if many of you are there. I think that tbone, dag and togi are near?
-
I think Bell is also kinda near..?
-
So Yotogi and I went out for drinks with some of his friends last night. They came and picked me up, so while I was waiting I prepartied a bit with some soco&coke and vanilla schnapps. My roommate also gave me a glass of wine. I found out later that was a mistake...Yotogi and his friends like to drink by each person taking a turn buying a round, and there were at least 6 of us, meaning at least 6 rounds had to be had by the end of the night.
We hopped to and from a couple of bars in Oldtown (really close to me) and ended up at a cool bar where unfortunately most of the women were probably in their 30s. Our fifth round was a jagerbomb, but everything else was Oktoberfest. A fun night and by the end of it I vaguely remember talking to Yotogi about the faction, but I don't remember what was said.
I was completely wasted by the end of the night, but I didn't really know of the extent until I got home. Here's the recipe for those wanting to recreate the magical night:
*1 mug of soco/coke
*1 mug of vanilla schnapps
2.5 shots of vanilla schnapps (it was tasty)
1 glass of wine
5 (I think) pints of Oktoberfest
1 Jagerbomb
Mix all of the ingredients in your stomach and you're guaranteed to be puking until 4 in the morning!
*a mug is a large coffee mug, equal to about 2 regular mixed drinks
I haven't been sick drunk in a while! Haha...oh well. I eventually passed out and woke up at 9:30 for my orientation meeting for my new job...lol.
Now we tried to get Dag to come out but he was playing dutiful husband. And Bell, Yotogi tells me you commute down here nearly every day, so no excuses! Next time I'm puking, ALL of you better be there![/i]

That really makes me wish that I lived in DC with you guys. Hopefully in a few years I'll be moving out there...
-
How you were able to get up at 9:30 after all that I'll never know...
-
And what's wrong with women being in there 30's? lmao...*goes to her corner and feels old* :2'(
(note to self don't post when you're drunk)
-
Fuck.
I need to start looking at more plane tickets.

Come to MSU sometime and bring me some stuff to drink, too!
-
my thoughts too saffy, not that I am a woman however. Married to a 30yrd old however.
-
By "in their 30s", I don't mean on the cusp of 30...I mean like 38...as in, could have given birth to me when they were 14.
-
You exaggerate; they were 35, max.
-
35 = go 38 = hell no so which was it lol
-
Lol... if women his age can't resist T I can't imagine what kinds of annoyance older women were throwing at him
-
Age doesnt matter as long as they're hot.
(and have boobs)
That is all.
-
And of course this most recent outing was on the one designated date night I have with the mrs once every two weeks :-p
I am generally free to go out anytime 6pm and later and on weekends generally anytime.
That said, I am thinking of playing MxO at work since that really is the only time I can get on. Would that be unethical?
-
not unethical at all. I did it at my old job. and may i say, what a terrific post T as it got all the old (and I don't mean age-wise Saf) members to make posts. People I havent seen post in months, including me. Love it. Miss you guys. Speaking of drunk and having orientation meetings the next day....I am and I do...in....6 hours. Hellz yea. Ok we alll need to bite the bullet, buy flights and meet somewhere for a weekend. I just got a $75 voucher from Midwest Express. I miss this shit.
Where to guys???
o, and yea, age doesnt matter at all saf as long as you're hot, and we all know you are ;)
Lets all make new characters on MxO and start from scratch. Ill even try the challenges again to get in if I must. I wont pass them, but ill try...
damn I must really be drunk... where's everyone to talk to me while I'm drunk like the good old days?
-
what word dag?

I need to sucker the hubby into letting me resub..or something. I'm bored out of my mind..but the only way I would is if I knew other angels were gonna be on! And thanks guys and gal for making me feel not so old. haha..
Ana..once I know what the hubbies reg schedule is, we'll make plans to hang out...and damn you arent 21 yet are you? we could do a pub crawl if you were. It's been a long time since I did that. hehe
-
yes, ana how old are you? i thought drinking was not possible till 21 years old (legally at least).
-
The way to get in is to get a fake ID so shit that the bouncer's let you in for trying. It's a tried and tested method, but I can legally drink so it takes the fun out of it :(

No, I'm not 21. You could always just tailgate at a game with me, though! That's just as fun, if not more fun. Bars are really expensive... it's so much easier and cheaper to just mix your own drinks at a party somewhere!
Haha, nocry, I'm only 17. I don't use a fake ID (nor will I ever), but every once in a while I will have a beer or two with some friends. I've only been drunk once in my life (the night I called Lits), but I would absolutely love to be on TS with you guys when you all get drunk.
-
meh. I don't see the fuss or excitement. I turn 21 in 9 days and I have never had a drink in my life. Saved a lot of money, money for nice computers, and cars.
I don't try to stop people from drinking and I don't avoid parties were it is present. It is just an extreme social pressure that almost nobody has the will power to avoid--and then, worse yet, it is used in excess, and then becomes fun, funny, cool to do, or the thing to do when life is frustrating and pissing you off--which becomes everyday.
That's the silly part.

Britain is historically known for being the Booze central of the world. We just get sloshed, fact. Some people get aggressive but most people like me just get all happy and think everyone's cool (except for that wanker of a bouncer than wont let me bring my kebab into the pub - tosspot).
I respect your decision Lithium (hell I admire you for it) but there is nothing more relaxing than having a bottle of budweiser and watching some TV infront of the fire... hell, I miss home sometimes hahahaha.
-
i'm 22 and probably have had only a few drinks my entire life. i can probably say maybe about max 7 to 8 drinks... It's no big deal to be honest... you're not missing much. Hell i didn't even drink on my 21st.
People make a big deal only because it's society's way of partying...
My friends like drinking occasionally but never make too big of a deal, i almost never drink though... mostly because i'm not fond of beer and because i'm ALWAYS driving.
-
Alcohol is overrated. Sometime sit back and watch new 21 yr old drink in a bar and ask yoruself if you want to look like them.
...the more you know

I am exactly the same. 22, don't drink much, didn't drink on my 21st, always driving...

High-Five...I still had a drink with my parents on my birthday, and I take out friends when they turn 21, but none of it is about getting drunk.
-
hey now, everyone needs that's rebellion stage. It took me until I was actually legal to drink to figure out I was acting like a bonehead.
-
I didn't start drinking until I turned 21. I just drink at parties/bars (when there is free booze especially) and occassionally on a quiet evening after I've had a really long day (usually just one drink to relax a bit). Just make sure you always have a safe way home and know your limit. And don't drink when you're really emotional.
-
And don't drink when you're really emotional.
I agree, stay clear of the booze when you're going through rough times. Before you know it, you've had a whole bottle of whiskey 'cause buttons the hamster died.
lke Srsly.

But Buttons was my FRIEND!
