Goldeneye 64 and the 007 games were mostly what I enjoyed on n64.

Abotu teh new Goldeneye 2 EA game, don't be fooled it will be a rip off. You play as a villian and its a total name rip and embarrisment.

Speaking fo Tribes, still waiting for the next batch of CD keys from fileplanet.com for Tribes 2.  I had already downloaded when someone made mention of it earlier this week.

ive never played tribes, maybe i should dl it...

and yes, GoldenEye2 will be a horrible game. It will be the most overhyped game ever(next to Zelda:OoT and Metroid Prime). Its not even coming to gamecube, the nintendo console.

BTW, Phantasy Star Online kicks ass. If you can get a copy of it on gamecube, it is a multiplayers wet dream. The equivalent of goldeneye on gamecube on terms of multiplayer goodness.

A friend of mine has Phantasy Star Online on gamecube. I've only played it a couple of times, but it was really something else. Alas, if only I had a gamecube to call my own...That would definitely be one of the first games I'd get.

And just to reitterate what everyone else said...
Goldeneye rules.

Yes. As I said before: goldeneye = sweet. However, I notice that some people include the final fantasy games...I'm going to be honest...I am truly not a fan of that series...is that so wrong?

And all the talk about ffVII... that was great, but so was FFX.  I can't say much for the ones between them though.

Well, I'll be honest... I've only tried a couple of the final fantasies... but I actually purchased ffX. I mean, props to them for the sweet graphics, it was cool to look at. But other than that I felt like the game was pretty weak. Sorry, dude... I do respect the opinions of the FF fans though!

i feel the same way. ever since 7 they've just gotten worse. i played x-2 for a couple weeks and couldn't stand it anymore. it's just gathering dust now. i'm hoping they don't end the series with the worst game yet, but the way things have been going who knows.

its the same thing that happens with punk bands...they go mainstream and then they suck.

BTW i cant believe nonoe mentioned pokemon. even though i hate the game with a passion now, back in the day you couldnt pull me away from my red version. For its time, no game could get kids to sit down and stay off crack better than pokecrack, the light crack.
