Someone thought my character name was inappropriate and reported it to Bioware. Sure enough, it appears my character does violate their naming policies.... specifically about not including ranks, titles, or honorifics in the name. In the example Bioware gives, all of the ranks and titles come before the actual name (i.e. Queenzipper,) but it appears they don't want a title or rank in any part of a character's name.

I've already appealed to Bioware and they basically told me to piss off. Needless to say, I am not happy about this turn of events... but I'm not going to quit the game over some 12-year-old's butthurt or a loosely interpreted naming policy.

I will now be known in game as Zipr. (Zipper was taken.)
