Make the "falling" text mimic the outline for the FA symbol.

I could make falling Matrix Code make out the FA symbol. Just gotta dig up my old tools and what not >.<

What did you do for the scanlines? I've seen the effect before, I've just always been too lazy to figure out what the trick is.

Scanlines? Create a new image in Photoshop that's 10x10 pixels, create a solid black line across the very top of the image with the single row select tool, or whatever it's called, then fill it with black. Now, save it as a swatch or brush...or whatever, I can't recall what it's called, but then, just go to the picture you want with scanlines, pick the Paint Bucket Tool, select the little funky design you wanted, and then paint bucket it onto a new layer set to overlay, then just fiddle with the opacity. Tada.

Actually Kayda you don't have to do that at all.  Scan lines is pretty much already built into photo shop just to the following:

Create a new layer and name it "Scan Lines" Set this layer's blending mode to Overlay.

Go Edit>Fill... and set the Fill properties to 50% Gray, Normal, 100% and uncheck Preserve Transparency. Click OK. Don't worry if you see no changes you're not really supposed to yet.

Hit the D key to reset your foreground and background colors.

Go Filter>Sketch>Halftone Pattern... and adjust the setting to a Size of 1, a Contrast of 5 using a Line Pattern. Click OK.

Apply the Radial Blur to the Scan Lines layer as you like.


Done.

Of course, I pay attention...besides, I just have Shiro download the gun turret procedures while I'm waiting in the buffer.

But, it's not like we have a whole lot of ship-to-ship combat anymore, what with the Sentinels being taken offline due to the truce and all.
