I found this little gem today from the Gamescom in Cologne:

It's looking really nice - much like a massive multiplayer GTA that was designed for online play. The action is quick yet smooth. Graphics are looking good, with nice explosions and pedestrian deaths.

If you listen closely in this video, you can hear a dev talking in the background. Near the end, he mentions closed beta is about a month, month-and-a-half away. This was a week or two ago, so Beta will be beginning in October. That's the closed Beta, though, so I still wouldn't be looking for anything until Decemberish (unless you have some connections!)
