I'm not sure why, but there's a good list of people who are "pending" to join our text alerts. I'm guessing this means a few of you never verified your number or need to re-verify. If you recognize the first part of your number, let me know if I need to resend an invitation or if you do not want to join the alerts. Here's the list:

I think most of us are using the "textPlus" application for this, but it is not required.

All you need to do is text FURIOUSANGELS to 60611. You will be sent a verification text after a few seconds, asking you to reply "YES" if you want to join the community.

Tried your method manic and it said i need an invite. T, the third # is mine. I need a reinvite I guess.

I resent your invite, Adad. Did you get it?

Also, I've changed the settings where anyone can join without an invite and any member can send an invitation. Just make sure you choose a nickname that I will recognize, otherwise I'll delete it.

Anyone still on the "pending" list has been removed. You'll need to rejoin. It should be much easier to join now. Check this thread for updated instructions!
