Off Topic / Hot Teachers Sleeping with Students Wrong?
« on: January 03, 2007, 09:10:46 pm »
I've come up with a solution that I think will please both sides of the teacher-student sex thing (in the context of female teachers sleeping with male students)

-Teacher must be attractive
-The kid she sleeps with can't currently be in any of her classes
-Age of consent should be scrapped and we should go with the standard age difference limit by gender. For men it's (age/2 + 7), for women there is no minimum age.
Example: a man who is 30, shouldn't sleep with a woman under 22, a 30 year old woman can sleep with a 13 year old boy no problem.

Is it a double standard? Yes
Is that a bad thing? No

I support hot teachers.

« on: November 02, 2006, 06:15:31 am »
The following are level 50 pieces (male)

Hat:
Archer Fedora
4 Enhanced Versions

Eyewear:
White Silver Shard Sunglasses
2 Enhanced Versions

Outerwear:
White Avero Cuffed Trench
Armored

Shirt:

White/White Avero Vest Combo
Shielded

Gloves:
Barrelhead Gauntlets
2 Enhanced Versions

Pants:

White Plain Slacks
Armored

Shoes:
Lucien Dress Shoes

I know there is a point of contention with the green gloves, but the next highest style are even uglier. The black "Hosh Mangler" gloves only go up to mid level 30s.

Anyhoo in case you're curious here's an example of the resistances I can get with the uniform.

207 melee
207 ballistic
135 thrown

Off Topic / Personality Test
« on: October 28, 2006, 06:35:27 pm »
I'm sure it's done before, but after reading this post I did the tests to find out I'm a
Guardian Protector:

We are lucky that Protectors make up as much as ten percent the population, because their primary interest is in the safety and security of those they care about-their family, their circle of friends, their students, their patients, their boss, their fellow-workers, or their employees. Protectors have an extraordinary sense of loyalty and responsibility in their makeup, and seem fulfilled in the degree they can shield others from the dirt and dangers of the world. Speculating and experimenting do not intrigue Protectors, who prefer to make do with time-honored and time-tested products and procedures rather than change to new. At work Protectors are seldom happy in situations where the rules are constantly changing, or where long-established ways of doing things are not respected. For their part, Protectors value tradition, both in the culture and in their family. Protectors believe deeply in the stability of social ranking conferred by birth, titles, offices, and credentials. And they cherish family history and enjoy caring for family property, from houses to heirlooms.

Wanting to be of service to others, Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden, and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. They are not as outgoing and talkative as the Provider Guardians [ESFJs], and their shyness is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth Protectors are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need.

Their reserve ought really to be seen as an expression of their sincerity and seriousness of purpose. The most diligent of all the types, Protectors are willing to work long, hard hours quietly doing all the thankless jobs that others manage to avoid. Protectors are quite happy working alone; in fact, in positions of authority they may try to do everything themselves rather than direct others to get the job done. Thoroughness and frugality are also virtues for them. When Protectors undertake a task, they will complete it if humanly possible. They also know better than any other type the value of a dollar, and they abhor the squandering or misuse of money. To save, to put something aside against an unpredictable future, to prepare for emergencies-these are actions near and dear to the Protector's heart. For all these reasons, Protectors are frequently overworked, just as they are frequently misunderstood and undervalued. Their contributions, and also their economies, are often taken for granted, and they rarely get the gratitude they deserve.

Curious to see what others in FA are like.

I had never heard of it until someone on TS was like, "No wonder I'm lagging, my bearshare is still open"

I have a new P2P love. I was able to download the entire 2-disc Furious Angels album in just over a minute (which by the way is impossible to find a seed on any torrent site)

Thank you internet!

General / Selling Area K Coats
« on: September 06, 2006, 11:07:37 am »
For people who are or wish to sell their area k coats, i had an idea that might help move them faster.

Sell them through my alt character because his rep is merv, thus on the marketplace it would show merv affiliation on the coat. the people who are generally going to buy these are going to be mech/merv, so why not make them think they're helping out their own cause! ^_^

I plan on selling my next coat with him. da60net if you want me to post on the market for ya

So I overslept my alarm clock (Crap!)

I throw on some clothes and decide I'll have to park on campus to make it on time (Groggy)

I get to campus and there's a buttload of parking spots open? (Huh?)

I get to the classroom and nobody's there... (did I miss something?)

Two seconds later.... It's Labor Day! (OH! hooray!)

To celebrate, I took a shower and ate some breakfast, and now back to MxO!

I promised Yotogi I wouldn't post pictures on the forums, so I will just say good times were had by all, Yotogi is kick ass and apparently I need to make it clear that no, I'm not going to beat up Brewko or Outlaw54 :-p

Also, Neo took me to this place where we had some amazingly good african omelets. Yotogi was already passed out, which is probably good because spicy food = bad morning trip to the toilet.
