Eww.
-
Oh boy. The forums are gonna have a field day with this!
-
The more time they take the better honestly.
-
They seem to be locking threads on the subject and redirecting them to the 900 page monstrosity that is the release date speculation thread. However, new threads seem to be cropping up as fast as they can redirect.
I'm surprised, EA has always been a "rush it out the door" kind of publisher. It's refreshing to see them willing to let Bioware call the shots.
-
Shocking... I called that back in '09
-
It's a bummer but the more time they take the better the end product (hopefully). Bioware learning the lesson of "you only get one launch" is a good thing and being willing to push it back rather than just shove it out quickly and fix it as you go is always the best choice.

end of septempber I still say

You did?? Master!! PM me 6 Numbers pls!

Either way I am glad that they are putting in the time to develop the game so when it does come out it is ready.
I don't know how many countless times I've gone into a game that wasn't ready for release and it failed, therefore losing a large amount of there player base. Pushing it back 2-3 months is completely fine with me granted I am sure that by that point the beta will be available for most players that applied early enough or those of whom that are reserving a copy via online or through a store.
The game from what I remember was announced back in '09 and a turn around of 2 years to produce an MMORPG of this size is very hard.
I just hope that them pushing it back a few months gives them the time to polish what is needed to be, bugs gotten rid of, and maybe an few extra end game bosses ;D.
-
Well it just gives me more time to get a new comp for myself (instead of hijacking my GFs new one) and do some other social stuff (like finish my warhammer 40k army to ard boyz size)
2011 or 2012 it just better be an amazing game either way LOL.

I've been a member on their forums since October 2008, like a week after that went live and they announced the game, They were already well into production by then as well so I'd say more realistically we're going on about 3-4 that it has been in the works. Either way, early 2012 is what I predicted when we first decided to play it as a team, which as many have already said, a delay hopefully just means it will be that much better upon release. The last thing they can afford is a rocky start.
Hopefully by the time it DOES release, I am still into video games ;)
-
If their goal is to have a bug-free launch, the game will never see the light of day.
EDIT: What's this then?

Good find man. That makes me happier :)

My prediction is actually a November release. With ME being pushed back, I could see December as an option too.
-
I'm going on record now and saying Tuesday November 15th.
-
My grades wouldn't be able to handle a December release. I'd love if it was released in the first week of November, giving me plenty of time to play before exams come around.

Yeah, I've been sacrificing sleep to get some time in since I am super busy and it is all I can do to function today. That being said, I'll still still put time in tonight I'm sure.
-
I hope it's around September/October time - my research project is in for this December so I cannae have SWTOR just releasing then :S
-
poor suckers that are in school... hehe
-
Agreed Saint. Haha. Though I was in school during MxO and that didn't stop me from skipping classes and spending an absurd amount of time playing.
I feel like if you tell your professors or bosses that you are part of the Furious Angels and SWTOR just released, it is understood that you are granted a month off, paid or ungraded.

I told my boss I wanted to take a week off to play MxO before it shut down. He understood completely.

I'm sure the blowjob helped.

Typically I would make a comment here but I am laughing too much to formulate a thought.
