I am interested in finding if there is a way to start a pvp with someone and then have other people join the fight...

Maybe the hacker will be able to provide a 'jack-in' point on another ships construct so you can attack people while being trained in the safety of their own programs.

Just a thought, I don't think it is beyond reach because if a ship is at broadcast depth, then theoretically couldn't you just trace the signal and then 'hack' the connection?

I am not sure, but I thought it would make the game interesting in the later days.

When I ask about joining a pvp fight, I mean in the matrix.  The question about hacking another ships construct is different.

The areas of town sectioned off for PvP are there for that purpose alone: to combat other players.  There should be no PvE in these areas, so when you enter, you know what you're getting yourself into.

I would love to see these areas incorporate for the espionage of a spy or the skills of a hacker, as well as front line soldiers.

So does that mean that there is pvp in ship constructs, that would be a nice way to train, playing againt your crew without actually killing anyone.

are there going to be training programs, from what ive seen you will just be emmersed in the game without training, i know its a bad game, but if anyone has ever played runescape (highly addictive) this game has a pretty good system with the levels system it has

I think as a team we should spar every now and then.  It would be fun, no harsh competition just something to do if things get slow.

In every MMORPG Ive played training is the key to success in a PvP fight. Personally, I will be developing the best template I can to go toe2toe with anyone/thing. This is only half of it. In order to be highly effective you need to know your moves, when to use them and how. This only comes with training, something I will be doing a lot of.

While I never actually played it, I know Runescape hit it off well with a lot of ex-M59 players I worked with.  The PvP was suppossed to be pretty, lots of spells.

Assuming the matrixgate interview is real, you will get a tutorial on startup..

Quote
[Malachlite]: What will a character's beginning be like? Will it be similar to what 'Neo' experienced in the first Matrix movie?

[NiX]: No, you don't enter the matrix like neo. Well, not exactly.

You are being pulled out of the matrix by someone (who will go through the tutorial with you)

The person giving the demo explained it to us as if you had just been taken out of the matrix. You'd have someone explain what?s going on (tutorial) and then you'd be able to do your thing (choose a side, etc...)
