Okay I'm been trying to export the rough cut of the movie but I keep getting an error that says something like  "Adobe failed to return movie frame"  Does anyone know what this means or how I can get this thing fixed so we can get the movie done.  We only have until tomorrow so this is urgent stuff here.

If your video has too much lag in it or too big of a skip, Adobe will bug out on that frame. Try rendering scene by scene until you find which one is giving you the problem.

I've been doing some research and it looks like the problem is SP2 and the dual threading processor I am using.  There are work arounds and I've got it so that I can compile it but the quality I don't think is as good.  Got one more option so I'm going to try that real quick.  I'll keep you updated

Ohhh...I remember doing that. I had to take off hyperthreading in the bios. I don't remember if that actually worked or not, though. I remember trying it at one point, though.

I am currently uploading a rough version of the movie... I had to save it as a AVI and then convert it over and export it.  The quality is not as good but it will give you an idea and hopefully an incentive for Arch, Manic, Fuse, Nightmare and others to show up tonight to finish this up.  

I was able to cut the parts down and compile and export them the orginal way but somewhere along the way the sound got messed up by about 1.8 seconds so it's like watching a kungfu movie.  I should be able to get the good quality movie done.    I will post a seperate thread when the lower quality movie is ready for viewing

If you don't want to disable hyperthreading all together you can tell the process what thread to be run on...

CTRL + ALT + DEL

Processes Tab

Find the process in the list, right click on it

Set Affinity

Uncheck CPU1 (leave CPU0 Checked), OK

Close task manager, you should be good to go.
