One of the common questions I see is what to do about your beta signup information if it changes. As most of you know, we don't have a page for changing that information before you actually are accepted into beta.

However, if your information does change, you can just go through the signup process again. If you have multiple entries, we'll just take the most recent version. Once you're in, we'll confirm all the information before creating a beta account for you.

Also, don't be worried that your system isn't the top-of-the-line. During beta testing, we'll want to see how all kinds of systems run--not just the best.

This post makes me a happy man!
Mainly because I sent 2 beta signups and my comp isn't top of the line.

Yeah, I'm trying to get a new computer....only thing is my moms won't let me get it and pay for it monthly, she wants me to save up totally for it and pay for it in one big haul.

Check all are info...do they mean they are somehow gonna check to see that are specs really match? Or like to see that we are a real person with the adress we gave.

If they get two applications from John Smith 1 on the 15 june saying he lives at

the road
the place
the town
the country

then they get another 1 on the 20th from john smith with a different address they would narrow it down to make sure it isnt another john smith, by comptuer specs... etc but then u have the problem with more than 1 person applying under differet names, mayb they are recording the IP addresses, but then u still have the problem of 56k users who get a different 1 each time they connect, it must just be all a guessing game after what i have said.

no they use the name, if ur name gets taken then it says u can't use that name.  if they have that one person "john smith" has turned in one on the 15th and one on the 20th, then they'll delete the 15th and just use the most recent one.

Ok so what is to stop another person called john smith overwriting the original john smith, how do they know that it is the first john smith trying to update his data, not another john smith trying to sign up a new account?

To many John Smiths.
