So what are you typically grinding with your drone boat? L3's? L4's?

Got any scanning skills trained up? I've been doing low-null exploration in an Anathema to fund most of my pew-pewing. Almost making enough that I can keep training on my main, AND finish training my exploration alt to fully fit a Stratios.

So are you planning on loading a Bastion module onto that bad boy? Also dig the Hyperion, just got the skills to put T2 guns on it, but haven't taken it out for much more than a trip around Dodixie.

With Valve and a multitude of others backing the Rift for PC, and Sony's new push with the Morpheus for the PS4, I'm curious to see if Microsoft or Nintendo is going to jump on the VR-peripheral bandwagon.  Perhaps as the Rift continues development as a stand-alone Android unit, other manufacturers will develop for Rift compatibility on their hardware?

Thank you Manic for expressing some of my own thoughts on the matter.

Thank you Tbone for being able to keep all these plates spinning for the last decade.

I think part of the problem that has bugged Manic (and myself) for sometime is the pervasive elitism still lingering from the MxO days, something that I think T addressed well in the post above.

This community became very tight-knit under the conditions of MxO if only because we were dealing with a hostile player base. This was before 'doxxing' became a term, and trust was more valuable than $info. This caused many people to play their cards much closer to their chest, and in my opinion only added to the levels of mistrust and paranoia of outsiders. This all comes together to reinforce a groupthink mentality that cannot positively serve a healthy and growing community in the long run.

I am a member of the Furious Angels.

I play Eve Online.

I consider myself a friend to both Manic Velocity and Fuse, and still try to keep in contact with both of them.

I do not consider any of these mutually exclusive, and I hope that others can manage to do the same.

Again, keep at it T. You've been doing this for the majority of your adult life and that takes some serious fucking dedication. We're all still trying to figure out what the future holds and as long as we can healthily discuss our different opinions in an respectful, adult manner, then we're already a step ahead of the curve.

That video really pisses me off.

I understand it was intended as a joke, but god dammit why the fuck was this ever made.

It boils my blood to see FA regarded in such a disrespectful, meh kind of way.

God dammit that video fucking pisses me off.

/endrant

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go commit atrocities in Titanfall to many enemy faces in order to calm myself.

I have adopted a new weight loss plan for at least the next 4-6 weeks.
I call it mono.
FML

When I was living in Frisco (North Dallas), part of my usual routine to unwind after work would be to stop by the Frisco City Park, smoke a cigarette, and catch up on some reading. One time I encountered a bunch of teenagers smoking blunts, being rambunctious, doing what teenagers do best. They offered me some tequila out of an un-marked water bottle and I figured 'why not'. Came down with mono less than 24 hours later. When I went to the emergency room I was prescribed amoxicillin. Less than 24 hours later, I discovered that I'm allergic to penicillin and penicillin-related products. Lost 15 lbs in a week.

Get better dude, take care of yourself.

News and Announcements / Bioshock dev Irrational Games Shutting Down
« on: February 18, 2014, 02:52:42 pm »
Today Ken Levine announced the wind-down of Irrational Games, most notably known for the Bioshock series of games.

Citing his need to refocus, Levine announced that the studio would be shutting down, retaining only fifteen members of the core development team while still giving gracious benefits both financial and job-seeking to those being laid off.

Levine concluded his letter saying that the studio will continue to produce narrative-driven games aimed at the core demographic, with a focus on high replayability and digital distribution; preceded by extended design periods. One more DLC is slated to release for Bioshock Infinite; while 2K, Irrational's publisher, will retain control of the Bioshock franchise.

I'm usually working during those times, but last I checked the twitch.tv app worked pretty well on my phone! Would give me something to watch/listen to while I'm closing up my shift! Looking forward to it tonight!

Looooots of bitching, but surprisingly just as many former SWG players coming forward in support of Smed's newfound philosophy. Here's hoping for the best!

This is what happens when you play PC games with shitty posture for a few years:

Sit up straight, get up and take breaks frequently, and stretch out regularly. Your spine will thank you.

Carry on!
