Sources say Oculus to Launch 'Beta" Consumer HMD by Summer 2015

Looks like a few of those devs under NDA may have let some things slip. TechRadar and VRFocus reports that "multiple sources" are saying Oculus will roll out a limited Beta launch of the product a la Google Glass Explorer Edition. "Apparently Oculus wants to gauge interest with both consumers and retailers before making its headset fully available to everyone, hence the limited launch."

Oculus has not commented on the rumors, but we hope to hear more details at their Oculus Connect conference next week!
