I was just wondering what sort of films you guys are into (other than the Matrix Trilogy).  One of my favourites is Donnie Darko, such an amazing film, especially those of you who are going through adolescence and/or are searching for God or somthing to believe in.  Truely fantastic.

If you like that film then another I recommend is Butterfly Effect, another excellent film that gives an alternative to life.  It features the actor who plays Kelsow in That 70's Show (don't know his name).  He really surprised me in that film with his acting, especially after watching Dude, Where's my car? It all about how every action has a massive effect on the world around you.

Moving on from that sort of film Genre I have to say that Pulp Fiction was a fantastic piece of work.  The whole story line and the way it's layed out.  IMO Tarrentinos best.

Last night I watched a film called Man of the Year.  It's based in brazil and it's all spoken in Portugese (one hell of a strange language).  The storyline is about a man who kills a notourious bastard and as a consequence becomes famous to his village people.  Another really good film.

Feel free to add your thoughts.

Kill Bill is hands down my favorite movie right now.  Such an amazing display of cinematography and character development in an amazing form of storytelling.

I'd say that right now Kill Bill is probably mine too but Dogma ranks pretty high up there also.

I have to say I did really enjoy watching them both, they were both excellent films.  Tarrentino love to put lots of random gore in his films doesn't he?  Like in Pulp Fiction when Samuel L blows Marvins brains all over the back of the car. Heh

Speaking of films, I rented out The Texas chainsaw masacre last night, well actually my brother did.  It's a gruesome movie, its not really that scary though.  I like horrors, sci fi, fantasy etc etc. Come to think of it, Has anybody ever scene Event Horizon, What a mucked up film lol
