Title: Notes from the Meeting (New Schedule, PvP, Raids, GTN, etc.)
Post by: Tbone on March 27, 2012, 12:46:39 am
We had a meeting last night where we discussed several important issues. Here are the results of that discussion:'

New FA Schedule:

Monday:
6 p.m. Ranked Warzones
8:00 p.m. Staff Meeting
8:30 p.m. Meeting and Interviews
10:00 p.m. PvP Patrol

Tuesday:
7 p.m. 16-man raid
10 p.m. Ranked Warzones

Wednesday:
7 p.m. Ranked Warzones
10 p.m. Group flashpoints

Thursday:
7 p.m. 16-man raid
10 p.m. Ranked Warzones

Friday:
7 p.m. Drinking Night (PvP Patrol, World Bosses, Datacrons)

Saturday:
3 p.m. (or whenever this is happening) 8-man raid
7 p.m. Free time, schedule whatever you'd like

Sunday:
Open - schedule whatever you'd like

No one really objected to this schedule. Everyone seems on board with the changes.

Raid and PvP Teams - It was decided that having set Raid rosters and PvP teams are the way to go. There wasn't much of an argument to make it a first come, first serve sign up. Basically the way these teams are formed aren't changing.

GTN Debate - There's an ongoing poll (http://thefuriousangels.com/index.php?msg=116922) over whether or not the guild should control how members use the GTN. It's fairly split, but the majority is leaning towards allowing it to remain a free market and for the guild not to get involved in how individuals put items on the market. It's still up for discussion and debate, but we will not be making any changes to this unless the tide begins to shift towards regulations. We'll be adjusting to a Guild Bank economy soon.

Cliques and Negativity - It was pointed out that most of the people complaining about cliques are not taking advantage of our social tools to interact with members. Cliques are naturally going to formed and should be encouraged so that members are able to have people to mesh with. We will continue to focus on providing events that include everyone and help members get to know each other, but we don't plan on forcing gaming circles to "split up", just encourage them to never become exclusive.

If you are not happy in the guild and aren't willing to bring up the issues that bother you, than we would prefer it if you would just leave the guild. Send Tbone or a Master a note so we know you've left, but we would prefer for the negativity not to fester within the guild. If you're willing to discuss issues with us, we are more than happy to try to find a way to help you have a better time and address any problems you may see. If you are unwilling to do that, find somewhere else that makes you happy.
