The studio I work for did a trailer for AIA / NASA to promote the Space Launch System. It's being shown in participating theaters across the US today before showings of Star Trek. It's pretty awesome... if only because we got Peter Cullen for voice work.
No idea how long it will take to get here, but my request for the Rift Dev kit was supposedly approved and submitted at work. I also have a Unity Pro license.. so when it eventually gets here, I'm willing to make one of my 'test projects' that I fiddle around with at work be a "White Room" of sorts for FA.
"A company called Virtuix is developing the Omni, which is essentially a multidirectional treadmill that its creators call "a natural motion interface for virtual reality applications". The company posted a video showing someone playing Team Fortress 2 and using the Omni along with the Oculus Rift."
Found out today I may be getting the Developer SDK and one of these prototypes for a possible Unity project for NASA's travelling display. Nothing set in stone yet, but fingers crossed.
