Well, I guess I'm going to be able to upgrade a little bit before the game comes out. I'll be playing with:

AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4Ghz
8GB DDR3 RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 1GB VRAM
23" Acer Monitor

Not the best, but better than what I'm working with now.

As much as I agree with the sentiment of ending all wars, it's unrealistic to think that will solve the world's problems. The truth is, in many of those places, removing U.S. military presence from one day to another would cause instability as the remaining factions fight among each other without the U.S. there to keep people in check. I do heavily support not adding any more conflicts that we're involved in, and smartly ending the ones that currently exist, but saying pull everyone out isn't the way to go about it.

Just to be clear, I have nothing against anyone of any sexuality and don't have a problem with anyone getting married. The thing is, the issue isn't about religious beliefs. The law doesn't govern those except to say that you can't discriminate because of religion. It's about the legality of marriage. Marriage through the church is much different than through the courts, and judges know not to put their personal beliefs into their work. On that note, what you have nothing against, or me, or anyone needs to be irrelevant to securing equal rights.

Interesting concept. Looks like he put a lot of work into it. I watched some of the preview he has on the website. It needed a better cinematographer and editor, and it would have gone from okay to good. But I'm supportive of the indie film scene, being in it myself. Best of luck to your friend.

Oh. Okay. I already did upgrade to a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. I think I have the medium tier package, but I'm getting much better speeds than they advertise. Maybe when my money situation gets better, I'll upgrade to the Ultimate plan.

EDIT: Digital Standared ordered on Origin.

Those of you that preordered on Origin: did you use a debit card? Did it charge the full game amount? I thought it was only going to charge the $5, but it has a hold on the full amount. I'm sure it will release the amount minus the $5 for the preorder, but I wanted to make sure that would be the case. Anybody have an insight on this?
