Joining An Order
Please choose an order from the list below. Contact the Master or Lieutenant (if the Master cannot be reached) to join the Order. The Master will then post here that you have been added to their roster (http://www.followtheangel.org/index.php?module=HTML%20Pages&func=display&pid=10).
Information on Orders
Libertas - Commander Tbone Little bit of everything A good mix of all classes. Heavily involved in both PvP and RP, being the flagship of the faction. Freedom - The Libertas Order specializes in rescue type missions. Extractions of those imprisoned is one example, but the Libertas' function extends past this. Perhaps a minority is being suppressed or there is a great war being waged against invaders. The Libertas can be an extraction team or war heroes fighting for freedom. Or perhaps even diplomats to bring about a democratic society.
Emeritus - Lt. Commander Broin Organizing information, Force-wielders (Consulars) Made up of force users. Heavily involved in both PvP and RP. Knowledge - The Emeritus Order prides itself on knowing all there is to know in the galaxy. Planets, races, dates, names, locations - if you're looking for information, you should check with a member of the Emeritus. Their knowledge extends past book-learning, however, as they are the prime students of the Force. Able to manipulate the Force like no other, most members of the Emeritus are Consulars.
Veritas - Master Anamodiel Recruitment, Alliances, Diplomacy A mix of all classes. Heavily involved in both PvP and RP. Truth - The Veritas Order focuses on seeing through the veil of deception. The Sith are masters of manipulation, but the Veritas are masters of the truth. They are very convincing orators, and are key in getting allies for the Furious Angels. When someone has been blinded by the Dark Side, the Veritas are there to bring them back to the Light.
Velox - Master Archnemesis Helping newbies, PvP, Being Available Mixed, though mostly non-force classes. Focused more on PvP. Speed - The Velox Order acts as an extremely cohesive tactical unit. They are ready at a moment's notice to aid in any fight or any situation. They are the first responders of the Furious Angels - the ones the Angels look to in case of an emergency. Always on guard - always on call.
Ad Astra - Master ManicVelocity Exploration, Recording data, Crafting Mixed, though mostly non-force classes. Involved in PvP and RP. Good Order for crafters, as well. Exploration - The Ad Astra Order are explorers at heart, venturing to all corners of the galaxy to discover what hasn't been discovered. They are key in gathering key intel for the Angels, who, up until recently, have mainly stayed near Iego. If Emeritus members write the book, Ad Astra members are the ones who do the leg work to get the research.
Aequitas - Master Adad Recon, Counter-Intelligence, Force-Sensitive Made up of force users. Involved in PvP and RP. Balance - There is no Light side without the Dark side, and the Aequitas Order is very aware of that. Know your enemy, and that's where the Aequitas comes in. Aequitas members must have a very strong connection to the Force, as they experiment with the Dark side in order to learn and grow from it. A balance must be maintained - both in the galaxy and within, and Aequitas members are perfect at walking that tightrope.
Praelium - Master Nocry PvP, Combat, Overseas or odd hours Mixed classes. Designed for members with non-US or odd hours (European members, etc.). Mostly PvP, but RP as well. Combat - The Praelium Order could be considered the "Furious" part of the "Furious Angels". Considered to be a blood-thirsty bunch, they are highly skilled warriors who use all the knowledge they have at hand to be stronger fighters. If there's a war being waged in the galaxy, Praelium members will be at the front lines.

It pains me to say, but my playing is too erratic to even try for a captaincy... I'll be on for 20+ hours some weeks and zero the next due to my stupid work schedule. However, I will do my best to promote our recruitment as soon as I get the say so from Tbone and bring in as many people as I can!

I'm back and ready to hit it hard within Star Wars, I volunteer for anything I'm wanted for. I've been gone a little while so I realize I've lost Merritt with a lot of you but, I'm back :)

Ok, as it stands now we have room for 25 active people playing APB and 49 active people playing SWTOR. This shouldn't be unachievable. By the time we reach that goal, hopefully we'll either have more people wanting to be captains or will make room to expand our current squads.
Potential captains, start thinking about what sort of crew you want to be (APB is pretty simple...SWTOR you can focus on Jedi or Republic, really). After that, we'll open up the crews for member enrollment. Members should join crews of those who have been leaders for a while/already work very hard at other aspects of the guild. Priority should also go to those who have been in that crew before (if you've been a member of Libertas, for example). Members should consider joining one of these captains in the following order
Tbone (I'm the leader, so, yeah =P) Anamodiel (will be busy as Recruitment Officer for EVERYONE'S new recruit) Adad (has and continues to be heavily involved in web development, video, and just about everything else) NoCry (hopefully will be leading a strong European presence...priority to his crew should be given to those who have opposite hours of the US)
The other captains should be looking solely to new recruits to fill their quota, but the aforementioned should also be getting new recruits as well.
Lots of ideas going around for both APB and SWTOR! I hope you guys are excited to get started!

For SWTOR? Ideally we'll have swtor.thefuriousangels.com set up and have a different "registered but not member" version of our site before we start leading people this way. In other words, it may be a little while. At the soonest, though, once I've set up content and permissions so that people can register with the site without being a member.

Broin added to both APB and SWTOR lists. I've been working diligently to get the "registered" site changed to accept public traffic - that's almost done. The APB site still has some changes to go through, and we still have all of SWTOR to do, but hopefully recruitment can start soon.
In the meantime, we'll start putting our current members in crews...

No, that's fine Fuse. The registration appears to be working as intended and we also seem to be secure on the forums and likewise. I just wanted to try to get things as close to perfect as I could before we introduced the site as open to the public. My intended steps are
1. Get rest of the faction into crews 2. Finish "Registered" side of site. 3. Introduce registration to Facebook fanpage as a special chance for Facebook fans to join FA. 4. Finish APB site 5. Go live with recruitment with APB 6. Build SWTOR site. 7. Go live with recruitment with SWTOR.
If you're comfortable with recruiting without having the APB or SWTOR sites done yet, that's fine. It's more of a "catch" is all...

I just realized by the time everyone chooses a FM, we'll have 16 people signed up already (more if they are just playing one game)! EVERY captain is going to have to do a fair share of recruiting! Captains, please try to finish naming your crew. After everyone has a FM, remaining members will need to choose between myself, Broin, Ana, Adad, or NoCry's crew. After that, it's recruiting time! Actually, I made the original avatar with the transparent background and black angel from Manic's image. I didn't like the plain black angel, though, and also it was too big, so I took a layer from the image I made for our frontpage splash image (as well as the banner I made at our home page) and shrunk it down to avatar size.
About 10 minutes later I saw that you had stolen my original avatar and just switched the colors. You even left it a little too big. So, way to steal my original avatar!

Manic and Arch each need 3 more crew members.
That's 12 more recruits to reach our initial goal. We've got two interviews lined up later this week. Feel free to come up with crew/squad content like a few of you were doing with the SWTOR crews!

Student life sucks; I'm literally saving up for SW:TOR after breaking my budget multiple times - I have £150 to last me until Feburary. You got a "talkin to" because you were trying to recruit while we were still developing our APB site and hadn't officially started recruiting yet, and you were using your own personal website, making it seem like FA didn't even have their own domain or application process.

That still confuses me as when the forum was opened up to non-members I clearly explained to come here, both in my post and the the site I had originally setup before that access was allowed - including (multiple) links to followtheangel.org.

Manic and Arch, just a heads up you've got another month to recruit at least two more people into your crew. After that, we might give your lieutenants a few weeks to step up and recruit. After that, you'll be absorbed into our long-standing crews (Broin and NoCry's if there is still room).
Yotogi has been working on some flash stuff for SWTOR. We'll start working on content and stuff soon to get recruitment going. Keep an eye out!

I think i'm gonna drop from APB.
I've kinda lost interest in it but have taken a bigger interest in SWTOR.
I think if / when we do play APB i'll just be a normal member. I'd still like to try and recruit (have a few people just waiting for our recruitment process to start) for SWTOR though instead of having to split my attention between recruiting in two games.

Time's up for APB's new captains. I've consolidated everyone into four main ships for now. Here's the assignments. If people want to switch, let me know, but I wanna try and keep the numbers even:
Arch and Setun went to Broin's ship. Manic went back to the Veritas. TheSorrows is filling out the Praelium until we get more non-US. Ships have been extended to 6 slots.
We're going to start focusing a little more on SWTOR recruitment soon. I'm still hoping that once we are actually able to start playing APB, though, maybe more interest will be generated and we can do a bit more recruiting. Captains who didn't make the deadline for APB may get another shot if recruitment picks back up. Also, those captains are still in training for SWTOR leadership.

We are pvp orientated but love a little RP (rather like the angels as a whole). I am based in Europe so tend to look after those in the same time zone (and of course, I have the Subb) - game quite late my time however so always happy to interact with our north american cousins.
As with Broin, also a winner of the vector olympics (freestyle).

Masters, remember that you MUST update the Roster when you add a member to your crew. Otherwise they are not listed in an Order and could receive penalties or warnings due to your oversight. Kruton and Eliana are still listed as Order-less.
