Title: Load Times

This website loads INCREDIBLY slowly for me.

I have a decent-good computer, cable modem (Comcast ISP) and live in New Jersey. Of course all other web sites load very quickly.

There's no difference in load times between Firefox or IE7. Any suggestions? Or does anyone else experience this?

same here. it loads slowly. i guess it just has a low bandwith server sided. may be to save costs

It's been like that lately.... i don't ever remember it being that slow to load before though.

How slow are we talking here guys? Pages take about 5 seconds to load everything for me. A couple years ago the servers we were on, a page would take a good 10 seconds to load.

Is this an all of a sudden change? Or has it been like this?

The server we are on is a privately ran server, hosted in a Houston, Texas datacenter.

I must say it is the same for me lith; a good 30 seconds on some pages. Tends to be when I click on the links to the left (which are highlighted as having new content etc by the little red page).

Not all the time but more and more for me over the past week or so.

sometimes it loads slow for me, but mostly less than 5 seconds

For me it has been always.

I would say after I left click a link, like a new forum or a new post, it takes the page 15-25 seconds to load

weird. I'd be quick to blame your ISP, (especially if it is comcast) but I will escalate the issue and see if it could be anything on our side.

I have Comcast as well, but pages load between 1.5 seconds to 3 seconds, according to Fasterfox.

No load problems for me...

Might want to look at the server logs and see if any particular pages are eating up cpu time.  I have a feeling the shoutbox thingy is eatin up a bunch of the load time.

My iPhone even loads this site pretty decently on 3g. No problems here.
