Tbone, I would like to be on teh Libertas again.
Hopefully I'll be getting set up on business cable this weekend, so Huzzah! MxO and HL2 on the same day!

I will most likley be on the Decerto.
I am a roleplayer / hardcore and am mostly acustomed to the QATest world server due to the hours. My main character is on the QA Serv so that's where I will mostly be playing untill the game arrives.
BTW if anybody on the Decerto wants to run a few mission with me, send me a tell :p I'd be happy to oblige

well, since it seems the Libertas is more than full, I would happily join with the Veritas or Carpe Diem :)

I don't really see the point of signing up for a Hovercraft, since from what I can gather in the movies, people were just assigned to a ship by Zion command. Also, GrimKitten is right. Everyone wants to be on the Lib just because Tbone is going to command it. Shouldn't we have some of the Staff/Senior members spread out over all the ships evenly to act as a mentor-type system for the newer members?

1. Organization. The Guild system wont do it randomly by itself, you know.
2. Probably, I just wanted to be back on my ship. If not, the Decerto cool. So is the Eviligos, the Carpe Diem and every other damn ship in the faction.

It'd be nice to have the staff spread out across ship instead of all of them being on one ship.
This way each ship can be represented in "staff meetings" or whatever form that takes.

well wouldn't the captians become staff, and so becoming the kinda voice of the ship in the meetings?

Hey, that's not the reason I want to be on the Libertas. I had just thought of either being on the Libertas, or captain of the Infernes. I love the names of both, and I like the people who have already signed up for Lib.

Rom, I/we were referring to the people who currently have their forum rank as "Staff" (i.e. Acidic, Tbone, Gillette, etc.). The reason behind my idea is so that the members who have more control over the inner workings of the faction (those secret meetings in Private) is so we have them across the board, equally representing everybody in the ships. I'm pretty sure the current staff members will be the Captains of the ships though, depending on how they're spread across the ships.

yes good point... I would like the Lib cause of its 18+ Hardcore label.
I know I'll be on the European one of course.
Staff throughout would be good, we need to have some staff that are privvy to certain (board) info on each team.

I agree, but perhaps not so much that they should be forced into a ship, they could be representatives of that ship. As they are staff members, they'd most likely gain captain position and just because they're staff, doesn't mean they'll be a good leader in-game necessarily.

ok I am blind but I can't find the descriptions of the hovercrafts which makes me a hard time choosing one .. Well I am (when my gf is not arround trying to kill the computer) hardcore/QA player . so if any crew would like me in I would be most happy to join :)

I still have yet to get Beta working on this flipping computer, so I guess I can't get on a hovercraft until then?

You can drop me in the Veritas again. I was there before but I would like to stay almost totally RP...would that make me obligated to board the Carpe Diem?

Am I the only one that is scared that Oz wants to be the captain of a hovercraft that doesn't exist anymore (the Infernes).

You know Iluvatar your plan sounds good but you might want to rethink the order of the things you want to do.
I suggest that you run very far away and THEN shoot yourself. I get the feeling that it might work better this way.

No. The point is, I would get a big help by already going to hell first. See, that much quicker in getting away from that travesty.

Unless you shot yourself in the hand or arm. I mean, it would slow you down a bit but you'd still be able to run away.
So will we know which hovercraft we're on by Monday or Tuesday?

It's going to take as long as it's going to take from what I hear. Tbone will let us all know where we're going by (at the latest) Wednesday. Also, I believe these ships are for WORLD1 primarily, as not everyone plays on the QA server.

Ok, I've updated the list. I wasn't able to appease everyone's first preference, so if I put you somewhere you would rather not be, please PM me with the title "Ship Reassignment Request" and let me know where you'd rather be and why. This still doesn't mean I will be able to move you, but I want as many people to be happy where they are as possible. For those who care, 44 members have signed up so far. If you have friends who game with us and have just neglected to sign up yet, please urge them to do so...otherwise it looks like we'll be cutting ourselves in half again.

Hey, I just wanted to give an update. I'm still trying to get the game working on this computer. Right now my current problem lies in the fact that I can't even get the patch to fully DL and install without giving me some error about being out of room on the harddrive (which, frankly, isn't true) Anyway, I think I'm working on that problem as I type this and hope to have the patch installed by the end of tonight. Then, fingers crossed, I'll be playing sometime this week.
