I will sign up if someone can answer me this question. I'm using the pre-installed Vista on my new computer right now. I'm debating whether or not to clean install XP or if I should just stick with Vista. It is a pretty looking OS, but I know it will run slower. so... Keep Vista, clean off all the crapware and install MxO Install XP and have a dual boot setup with MxO running on XP Clean install XP

So many of you may know that I reformatted/reinstalled everything on my computer last week due to virus corruption. Well after a couple days running smoothly and getting everything back to normal, my computer randomly locked up. Upon restarting it would freeze while loading XP. I tried all the steps to remedy the situation and in the end discovered that my processor had finally died.
So what does this mean?
I do have my old desktop computer which I had some parts for but discovered it needed a new motherboard. I just bought a new motherboard for it this morning ($20 ftw) and once I can get that up and running, we'll see if it will run MxO. If it cannot, I will see if I can scrounge up some parts from friends and a handy computer store I know locally that sells off two year old dells for cheap.
But just to let you guys know, I will be out of commission for 1-2 weeks while I put the pieces back together.
On the plus side, between my desktop and laptop I have lots of parts to sell on ebay :-p

Stumbled on this site looking for Wipeout tracks. I believe it's the most comprehensive listing of video game soundtracks you can download in one place. http://downloads.khinsider.com/game-soundtracks/browse/allNo it doesn't have path of neo stuff on there, but it does have enter the matrix. Perfect place to harvest music for a new FA vid me thinks?

In the original Matrix theatrical trailer there are three songs made by independent artists played in the background. Song 1 - ? (is playing when smith says "humans are a cancer") Song 2 - Trip Like I Do by The Crystal Method Song 3 - The Eyes of Truth by Enigma http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UM5yepZ21pI I'm having trouble identifying the first song. Please if anyone can help it'd be much appreciated.

If you're on the look out for some music to add to your library I recommend the following. Knobtweakers Best of 2005 http://www.knobtweakers.net/netlabel/ktwk001/ktwk001.zipPrefix Mag Best of 2006 (Singles) http://www.prefixmag.com/mp3s/Best06Singles/and as an added bonus ALL of Prefix Mag's mp3 collection (takes a while to get everything, but good stuff in there) http://www.prefixmag.com/mp3s/Some (but definately not all) of my favorites (picked only from the two best of lists) "Cell Progression" by Xerxes "Ain't No Other Man" by Christina Aguilera "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap (Morgan Page Bootleg Remix) "Fingerpaint" by His Boy Elroy (Moved Mix) "My Love" by Justin Timberlake (Featuring T.I.) "Waters of Nazareth" by Justice "Whoo! Alright-Yeah ... Uh Huh" by The Rapture "Ideal Chameleon" by Sinestetici and Kilowatts and long story short, I never would have found any of this if I hadn't connected to a random server to play CSS nearly a year ago :-p

So you may have already known I've been trying to bring new life into my 8 year old desktop. Today all the parts were in and I got it put back together. However it doesn't pass POST. The error code I'm getting indicates one of the following. 1. CPU not seated properly 2. CPU Dead 3. Motherboard CPU Interface dead
Because I just so happen to have a spare CPU laying around to test with, I've figured out that it is indeed the Motherboard that has died.
Fear not though! I've purchased a replacement for $15 (ebay ftw).
All things considered, I'm not surprised the motherboard died, I haven't tried powering on the unit for a long long time (like 2 years), and the last time I did I blew up the power supply so it probably wasn't good for the board either :-p
Pictures, budget and benchmarks once I get the damn thing working again.

While I refurbish my old desktop, I'm looking to max out it's AGP slot with the best card possible. It's an Asus P3B-F which will support a 4X card (runs it at 2X).
System Specs Motherboard: Asus P3B-F (Intel 440BX) Processor: Pentium III 1.0GHz (Slot 1) Memory: 1GB (4x256MB) PC100 ECC SDRAM Harddrives: Maxtor 10GB (5400rpm) IDE and Western Digital 80GB (7200rpm) IDE Sound: Creative Sound Blaster Live! Graphics: *****Nvidia TNT2 Ultra 32MB <--- Looking to upgrade to something with at least 128MB*****
Also if someone can recommend a decent DVD/CDRW Combo drive I'd like to replace my current ghetto setup
I have an old 2X DVDROM drive with a hardware decoder (yes it has a card in one of my PCI slots) and a slow ass HP 16/4/2 CDRW drive (cost me $200 at the time!).

I'm using a desktop stand instead of a boom stand, but otherwise you get the gist of what I've got going now. My pop filter won't arrive until Tuesday :-(

I've finished superimposing my clothing archive over the master list, which is in .csv format. I need someone who can turn this into an user friendly online database.
The Idea: Combine all the best parts of the mxo clothing project, mxo resource and my previous format.
Basically make the master list of clothing searchable with the ability for me and any other people in the faction to go in and add a tag to any piece which we have decompiled.
Example: Someone searches for pants between level 30 and 40 with ballistic damage bonus
Enhanced Moss Derin Sheen Pants (pictures could be added later) Buff 1 Buff 2 Buff 3 etc Cost Frag
Who can code this? Vector-Hostile.broin, Vector-Hostile.da6onet, Recursion.xbroinx, Recursion.xda6onetx
So who can help me?
