That's right! You can change the image that the loading screen uses when you first boot up to the game!
To do this, go into your program files and find your Star wars the old republic folder. From there got to the file path:
swtor>retailclient>LoadingScreens
and add any .JPG file to the folder and simply rename it LoadingScreen and you're finished!
Enjoy!

Ha! I discovered that a few weeks back.  Totally forgot to do anything with it.

I told TBone, then the plan was to make some Order specific screens.  Totally forgot about it.

For now, I've removed the loading screens, so I can watch the world load in when I alt-tab.  Note: It isn't very pretty.

Yeah.  It only looks for LoadingScreen.jpg

I just grabbed a few assests from around the forum and came up with this (http://i495.photobucket.com/albums/rr315/JazzyC2003/th_LoadingScreen.jpg) (http://s495.photobucket.com/albums/rr315/JazzyC2003/?action=view&current=LoadingScreen.jpg)

Only issue is the blue corners have a weird bleed-through effect when stretching to fill the screen.
