Hey guys.

Some new info from Walrus.

Pretty interesting.

http://thematrixonlineboards.warnerbros.com/newboards/thread.jspa?threadID=2000007387&tstart=0

They added stuff about the preorder package too.

Just in case some of you didn't know already.

Good to get responses. Hopefully it will run on my 1.2ghz when released, as I might not have the cash to upgrade fast enough after getting the x800xt. Hopefully I can. But new processor also means new ram, as I have SDRAM. Crappy thing.

Good lord!  I think my network firewall has lost it's mind, I can't go some websites and my instant messanger isn't working.  If anyone feels generous, could someone sum up whatever was said in that link?

Ummmm.....with a 1.2ghz, the x800 XT is going to be so bottlenecked, that you will see very little difference.

]Because we’re working on the game, we want our machines to play the game and then some. The basic machine we work on is a 3 GHz Pentium 4 with 1.0 GB RAM and a 128 MB ATI Radeon 9800 video card. You get a pretty amazing view with that kind of setup.

I am so very glad to read this. My system is identical, except that I have 2.0 GB of RAM. This should be most pleasant.

Actually...I'm not getting the card first. Seeing as my card isn't THAT bad, I thought the x800xt could wait.

So, my first step is a processor, 1024mb ram and a new motherboard.

Which I can get for the price of ONE x800xt.

Hopefully it'll be cheaper once I have upgraded.

I'm not such a hardware genius, sooo...

Is this OK? http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.asp?sku=123709&cks=PRL

And what about these (2x512mb) http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.asp?sku=118498&cks=PR

And this: http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.asp?sku=121244&view=detailed

(Yeah I know socket 478 is getting old...but it still works!)
