SOE may lose SWG
« on: May 08, 2006, 12:02:07 am »
There's a rumor going around that Sony Online Entertainment might lose Star Wars Galaxies, largely based on the glitchy history of the game and the fact that game contract is about to come up for renewal. If the game continues (which, if the rumors are true, the game may be cancelled altogether) then Sony might not be handling it anymore. That sucks for those affected by the new Station Pass price increase, but would it mean more players for MXO (if SWG was cancelled) or simply more attention paid to us by Sony? But then again... it's just a rumor.
