So as some of you may have noticed already, yesterday afternoon I came to the decision that though I have many friends within Furious Angels, it is no longer the place for me. There are several reasons for this, some of which are sensitive in nature and I don't feel like airing them out to everyone, but suffice to say that I will miss talking to you all every day, and hope that despite this abrupt exit we can remain friends.

ACo wants to run again tonight, and we're going to balance out teams before we jump in. About an hour - hour and a half from now (that's 7:00-7:30 FA time). Gonna try and get someone to send a mass text, since I can't from my new phone yet >.>

Awesome Broin!!! We'd love to have you. Last night was really a super success, and word is there will be more guilds getting involved.. so we'll have more teams to run up against.. I'll try to get a text message out next time or something

Sared> No worries, love. Organizing mostly with Rux, cause he's who I know best over there.. We actually got this going tonight, after you got d/ced. Speaking of. For a Friday night? This went swimmingly. Managed to match against ACo 3/4 matches (the other team got against another pug team on match 4) so far, and planning on doing more. Super fun times! Going to see about planning some more in the future, but gonna try and delegate this to Sared since its more his area than mine

So. I talked this idea over with a few of you in the guild, and I've heard it can be done... I suggest that since its Pre-season in ranked warzones that we take this time, and the initiative, to actually begin working together rather than arguing about gear, strategy, and whatever else. The idea is that we get 16 interested people, and queue up together in two teams, and run a 'scrimmage' match against EACH OTHER rather than against Imps who are better geared, who know their rotations, who know how to work together, and who somehow manage to stomp us into the ground within the first few minutes of a match. I've already pitched the idea to Rux and Kontraz of ACo, who agrees that its a good idea, and it could work. So he is seeing who would be interested on their side. What I need to know is how many of you here, in FA, would be willing to do this, and more importantly which days and what times work best for you? Obviously it would be ideal to have an 8 man FA team against an 8 man Aco team.. but there's nothing saying we can't run two teams of FA, and two teams of ACo, or a mixed team if we don't have enough interest. Please let me know as soon as possible! List the following: Character name: Class/Role: Day/Time that works best for you: EDIT: Kontraz suggested Fridays, for drunk nights which makes it all the more fun. But the chances of us running against ACo are smaller then.. so we'd have to run more teams. Current Signups: Adam- Sage/Heal? Speaking of ranked warzones... I finally finished leveling Nakari (gunslinger, dirty fighting ((dots)) dps).. got my first piece of war hero today, going to start trying to grind out a few more pieces.. but I'm slightly confused... Its pre-season right now. Meaning, win or lose, doesn't matter. This is the time we should be using, with our 'ranked' team.. to be doing ranked warzones, getting better geared, learning effective rotations for our classes, and figuring out our strategies as an overall team, as well as getting ourselves to a point where we work together as a team without having to debate every little move... yet, it doesn't look like anyone is doing any ranked warzones at all.. I do have to agree with Mharz though. Gear doesn't matter.. but I have also noticed a consistent thing with our pvpers... "DPS DPS DPS DPS DPS DPS OMG LOOK AT MY DPS!" And after PVPing all the way to 50... I learned something neat. You can crank out DPS all day long, but that doesn't mean you're going to win. I say it every time I am ops lead in a match. "It isn't about Death Matching. Its about objectives and winning." And with those thoughts... I'd love to be considered for a ranged dps spot on our ranked team which was the whole reason I leveled Nakari. So. Yeah. When are we doing this?

I've got an appointment Saturday morning with the optometrist.. not sure if I will make it back in time for raid but I will 'try' very hard to, just in case you guys need more people.

According to Alrek of Alpha Company event starts at 9pm EST on Coruscant to form up where the Sith can't see.. but the actual fighting begins at 11pm EST.
