I dont intend to get one.  Though it is kind of nifty that you can use the PSP as a projectile weapon if you twist it the right way.

See that's the thing.. when I go home for my break between semesters I was thinking of buying one of these silly useless little toys except that I don't want to have to buy all the software.  It plays movies except it doesn't play DVDs so the 400 legit DVDs I own are useless and I'm not going to go pay the greedy MPAA to buy the movies a SECOND time.. and buying all the games again..
To me it's not worth it.. between MxO and my modded xbox, I'm good till the next generation consoles.

Though Nintendo DS looked pretty cool too  Damnit I know I'll end up buying one of them and not using it.

No dude you can get a 1gb memory stick convert your DVDs to MPEG4 and you wont have to buy the special UMD DVDs.

Do you know how to convert DVDs or ANY format for that matter to MPEG4?  I've tried before and it's a pain in the ass that usually doesn't work, especially with free/shareware software.  My cell phone has a 1 gb memory stick and can play MPEG4s and I've been trying since I first got the damn thing to be able to put movies on my phone in a format that can be read.. MPEG4 only.  If you know how to do this, please enlighten me.. I'd love to have a movie or two  on my phone for my trip home.
