Ok, we should post any angel pictues in this thread, as soon as i get home (tonight) ill be able to start photoshopping the hell out of those images :D can I have a source for the actual angel?

yeah lol i did that found som pictures of babys and girls in angel costumes at school plays, also biblical references of angels. Its worth a try if thats what ur looking for.

mayb have the top half of the angel arms and wings and transfering that into a sig... im not a very graphical person.

I think it's very good also, we need to get an animator going on these, get some writing flowing across the picture, that would look cool :)

First of all let me say that I'm listening to that download of our theme song and it's pretty hot.
Now back to the topic. Likwid you asked for a way to implement these pictures. Catalys has recently brought up the fact of our new recruitment picture. I think someone can make a hot damn looking angel, and we can use Quantum's idea of cutting the picture up into tiny pieces or large pieces (depending on how hard we want to make the test at the time) and they will have to reconfigure the picture to the correct way. It'd be hard only if we made it extrmly hard, and it can be relatively easy when we want more recruits and apps at the time.
I think that thought is worth looking into anywayz

I was thinking of a picture of maybe like a black and white eclipse, you can find a pic of any of these on google, and an angel in the center of the eclipse holding a flaming sword, the flame being white - idk that wud be hot to me you know like in the garden of eden they had angels with flaming swords
I would do this myself if i had photshop - i might try d/l from kazaa but guys if any of u cud do this for me I'd be like ur energizer bunny slave forever.....no kidding

Mwhahaha i'd thoguht i'd gloat a bit more at the fact i have tickets to see RHCP live at Cardiff.
Rammestien aren't bad, but i wouldn't say i was a fan, RHCP lp and other bands a lot better, but wd to them for getting released in the uk, not many forgein bands do that.

well if im going to have a sig, its going to be of morpheus with the blue and red pill in each hand, have a quote from the movie or something, have it animation out to the furious angels thing that everyone has, so that i dont break sig rules :) he he. umm if anyone got any ideas let me know, i dont have the cash for photoshop, let alone ive broken at least 3 computer getting stuff from kazaa....so my computer is not going to touch something as dirty as that :) but ok, gj on all the sigs, i like em all, wish i could create some of those works of art....but im not gifted :*( later

Friend of mine runs a poetry-related website but she does a lot of graphical stuff as well. When she runs across images and pics she likes on the web she'll save them in an online archive. That is where I found the picture.

ATTENTION ALL DIGITAL ARTISTS!!!!
If you have made, created, or edit any sort of FA relatated sig, wallpaper, image, or anything visually pleasing please report to the IMAGE GALLERY by clicking ./images under //programs. There is an album there just for you guys!!!
Click the album called "Furious Angels Signatures and Other Images" to view it and once inside you can pull down the option at the top right that says admin options and choose ADD PHOTO. Choose "FORM" at the top and then upload your images. You can experiment with the other upload methods but "FORM" is the most reliable.

Ok, working on the Tyrael FA image...
I'm satisfied with Tyrael himself, but I need some input on some of the other elements.
The title obviously needs some flare, or something. Suggestions are welcome, along with any other text you want to see on there.
I want to have "our" logo on there, with some kind of cool effect. I've been experimenting a bit with the filters, as you'll see in the images. Lemme know what works for you, what doesn't, etc. I'll try to stretch the effect of the filter past the logo to the rest of the image.

Of course, if nobody's interested, I'll just snag this one for my personal sig.

wow, my topic has gone along way! i should be able to start editing the angel pics this evening (England time!) hehe. Are all the source pictues in ./images ?? if not could someone post a source angel (the original form the test, i could get a matrix code drip from google) :) cheers.
Also, instead of posting all the angel pics on a forum, i will make a geocities site with thumbs etc, maybe we could put all of the work on it?? like have different links for different peoples work, top rated etc. just simple nothing too hard no scripting just using good ol pagebuilder =], i think that would be a better idea than pictures in forums, firstly, it will be quicker to load (= thumbs for quick easy browsing) plus it will be easier to sort through

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I share a computer with some other students...dumb students...dumb students who format hard drives with out asking other freakin users!!! I have lost all the orginals of my picture which really sucks. However, looks like its not in vain as those are some prime images. We have a lot of enthusiasm and talent in the FA, and Im glad some of its being expressed through art :)
edit - (special congrats to Catalyst, got the right idea mate, Tyrael the Archangel is the funkiest angel ever!)

You guys... this is getting hard to keep track of. Do you think if I make a subalbum inside the FA MATERIALS ablum everytime you find a good source image like and angel or a good matrix code drip pic or somethign you guys could paste them there???

Ok, I've got the Tyrael png up in the source images. Feel free to add your own background and stuff. I'm having trouble with my fonts in Photoshop (just installed some awesome fonts, but I can't access them on Classic). If someone could put in a Matrix code background, the logo, and put in "The Furious Angels" in either the Angryblue or UnZialish fonts (can be found here (http://www.dafont.com/)) and post it, that would be great.

Ok, I've also got three Tyrael images, complete with background and symbol (in three similar flavors), but lacking the Furious Angels title. Once more, if someone could get the title in either Angryblue or UnZialish (preferably on the "core" version of the image), I would be most pleased.

im doing it college, a Currency converter... ive got a little bit from 1 person a little bit from som 1 else a little bit from me and voi la, a currency converter, it prints reciepts and saves the information after the transaction (well not the second bit... yet) but its prety cool i got a book VB for dummies, i always wonder what type of people buy them books, and if u ever wondered that u now know.

All I have made in C# for now (which i finished) is a calculator for volume, which is fairly simple. Made it to learn new stuff, cause I added some thingys so you couldnt add letters and only have one comma and so forth..
Now im working on a pacman-ish game, i have fixed the pickups and movement of the player, made walls and such. And now im working on enemies :). They are a bit harder to make cool. Cuz even if its not advanced enemies, im new to C#, and i dont want em to go through my walls :P, while it has to follow the best path towards me...
Just figured out that i should start drawing more..
and then mess with them in pp..that makes cool pictures..

lol i dont think i could make a packman game. Although my converter is a bit fiddily, taking 2.5% commision, then turning that back into pounds. since its the first program im making it's a little difficult.
