Someone really wanted to do a reinterpretation of West Side Story but couldn't write worth a damn and decided to that video games would work.

A+ for production value.

Well they hit reality TV on the nose! I never did understand the Bachelor/Bachelorette...But Western culture IS consumer-driven with zero mercy. The entire marketing strategy is to encourage obsessive behavior. Now, excuse me while I go watch six seasons of my favorite TV show in one sitting...
