What to do for 65 days and counting
« on: October 15, 2011, 04:32:18 pm »
Fellow FA members, I have been watching Star Wars I, II, II, IV, V and VI, playing Kotor (again) just to pass the time.

Ever since the beta weekend I have not been able to load up any other game that didn't have a lightsaber in it. I even went back to Force Unleashed on Xbox.

I find myself sitting at my computer everyday wanting to play something but nothing grabs a hold of me.

I guess that is a good sign that SWTOR will be awesome!

So what is everyone else doing or going to do over the next 65 days?

It's probably closer to 55 days. Don't forget about early access! I'm going out of town to visit family for three weeks so that I won't feel guilty when I'm playing SWTOR during Christmas. Haha!

That is true T, I totally forgot about the early access!

I guess it would be good to spend time with the family up until that time or release. LoL!

Considering reactivating my wow account... I need a beta account so I don't turn back to the evil that is WoW.

I couldn't even think of re-activating WoW again. I got Lich King and Deathwing burnt into the brain it hurts to see it!

I actually re-activated my Ultima Online account. I ran around for a couple of days, built a house in the game and then I started to feel really dirty, kinda like when a "hated" ex-girlfriend calls you over to her house just to have a fling. I had to instantly close it down, after I did I thought to myself, that was a a waste of 15 bucks.

Just try to hold out until November. Skyrim on 11/11 and Arkham City on 11/18!

I have been looking at Skyrim, might be a good one to hold me over.

Okay so in an effort to avoid the WoW demons of my past I'm considering going to SWG for the last 2 months.  As of yesterday it's free to play until it shuts down in December.  I'm not wanting to powerlevel (okay maybe I will because it's just who I am) but I was more interested in going there as member of FA in a social and recruiting effort to direct people towards the challenge.

Any thoughts on this?  Anyone else need a Star Wars fix and want to roll over to SWG for a last minute tour around SWG?

I've been playing with the Portal 2 Authoring Tools. Not a game, but I'm experimenting with making my first Portal map!
