Off Topic / Where ya'll been?

I feel like it's been ages since I've heard from any of you guys. It's like everyone quit swtor and I never heard from ya'll again lol.

What has everyone been up to? Anyone still playing swtor? Is everyone doing VR now?

Non-VR Games / Hey guys I'm back.

Hey all,

Some of you may remember me and some of you may not. I just resubbed my account and plan on getting back into tor.

I will be giving this a more hardcore effort going for quick progressive gear collecting this time.

Hope to be caught up and ready to raid with you guys soon enough.

Non-VR Games / My experience as a Shadow-Balance build so far.

I just wanted to share my experience in ToR thus far playing a shadow/balance consular. Every single balance consular I've seen is a Sage so I figured I'd say how it is as shadow.

I'm focusing very very heavily on Willpower and Power in my gear. I've got every single piece of gear except one relic maxed out for my level.

All mobs I'm running to are easy and fun to dispatch. I can sneak around zones and grab objectives easily. I can clear out group by group if I wanted to as well. Being able to CC a mob for over a minute makes managing elite pulls easy. Balance is a very heavy hitting build.

It also helps to know if you pull too many mobs you can completely disappear.

I put on combat stance and take up to 2 elites with my healing companion (and my friend Res's. When we have both our droids out we survive they're very efficient if they're not being attacked). Hard level npc's go down without hurting me and regulars get murdered.

Then again I'm 27 and in Nar Shadaa still but this is my PVE experience right now.

In pvp I am able to completely disappear when I'm outnumbered and I almost always have top damage done unless some much higher levels come into the game. I die a lot less because of being able to stealth and run. Or I can choose to ambush an unsuspecting objective capping player.

I am able to cap objectives in pvp very easily because of being able to stealth around AND have such high damage output.

So far I have yet to notice anyone doing the same type of build.

I'm loving it.

So, there is a thing going on facebook that will let the winner play at a big show in el paso but you have to get votes. All the local New Mexico people don't know me so I can barely count on any of their votes. (they either don't know me or dont like me) so I can only count on votes from you guys.

Off Topic / What Graphics Card?

So I bought the GTX 220 when the GTX series was first announced. It did me well until recently it pooped out on me. It had serious heat problems even in my cooler master HAF case.

So I'm looking for a replacement. I kind of want a midrange card (price wise) because the specs on those stomp my old GTX 260 and that thing held up most games today with no problems. My budget is around 300 dollars. It can be slightly above or below.

What would you guys recommend? If you could also please give me a link with your post that would be great!

I've always been an Nvidea person but perhaps you ATI guys could bring me to the dark side.

Any of you who know who Deadmau5 is may like this remix I did.

Basically what I did was threw in my favorite parts from Deadmau5's "sometimes things get complicated" song and then threw in my own synth as well as some serious mashing up.

Let me know your thoughts!
