Ok, guys. April 25-27th. We'll drink, hangout, play the Rift, play other games. We can do touristy stuff if you want. Or just go out. You can come early and stay late. Just know I may have work on Thursday or Monday. I need confirmation on who is going to be here and when.
My place is available. If you need a hotel room, please let me know so I can try to hook you up with a cheap room. Dagonet has also offered up his place, though it is a bit of a drive.

I can come out the 25th or 26th, but not both evenings. As Tbone stated, I have a couple guest rooms if people need it. While I'm only 19 miles north of T as the crow flies, DC traffic makes that ~40 minutes.

Right now the plan is to do a lower-key Rift/drinking/whatever night on Friday and have a big party (inviting all my other friends) on Saturday. Be there!

I've been keeping an eye on flights. Once something drops down to a decent range around $350, I'll book. Most have been over $450 at any decent time, and I don't know if I can do that.

Well, as luck would have it, my brakes on my car decided to be a bitch. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it'd be to get fixed, but I held off booking until I knew how much it was going to be to get them fixed. Flights have jumped to $550 now. I can't do it. :(((((((((

I was finding flights for $299 if you do a half day on Monday... Still less than $400 for leaving on Sunday, though.

Oh, Baltimore is an airport that I can fly into? Tbone had said it was really far away, so I hadn't been looking at that.
I have a direct flight on hold right now that puts my into Baltimore airport at 9:30pm Friday. I can't miss work at all, unfortunately, right now because we are still kind of busy and I'm taking the following Wednesday/Thursday/Friday off. My return flight would leave at noon on Sunday. Would someone be able to pick me up/drop me off? I will pay for gas.

I can pickup/drop off Ana as needed. Especially since I'm closer to BWI (~25 miles for me). But yes Ana, the beautiful thing about DC is that you have three airports to choose from when looking for cheapest tickets :-D

At first I was like, "Fuck yeah! I'm going to drive!"
Then I was like, "Fuck, I'm not driving all that way for those guys."
But then I was like, "Fuck, wait... Broin is going to be there. Have to go."
And then I was like, "Fuck, that is still a lot of driving."

I've done the drive from DC to Orlando in a day (and stopped in Atlanta on the way back for lunch with grandparents on the way back). Also have driven from Pittsburgh to Hattiesburg in a day. More frequently I drive from DC to Bloomington, IL or northern Michigan (not any longer on that one thankfully). Just bring some good tunes and/or book on tape/cd. Also, a pee cup if you really don't want to waste time stopping at a gas station.

I'm all packed. In true form and fashion, I've packed five pairs of shoes, seven shirts, and three pairs of pants for the forty hours I am there.

When, on Saturday are things going to get started? I wouldn't be able to do Friday but the Saturday get together is plausible.
Saturday we will probably get together around lunch time and possibly go into DC. We'll need to prep for the huge ass party, though, which is starting at 9 o'clock at my place. PM me if you need my new address. Hope you can make it!

Currently lithium is shit faced an has spilled his drink more than 8 times on himself at last count. Anamodiel is feeling no pain and chatting everyone up who will listen and even those who won't. Yotogi and dagonet have secured a corner and are debating the finer points of parenthood and quantum physics. The boss is of course schmoozing it up with everyone. Me I'm enjoying the show. :)

I tweeted this last night, but I haven't been to a house party since college. I just love meeting new people and talking with them.
I also shouldn't be allowed to wear white ever... My poor shirt is completely and utterly covered in chocolate and other stuff. I didn't realize how messy of a drunk eater I was.
