...and it ain't pretty. Most orders have now been delayed by close to two months from their original estimated shipping date. I personally was expecting mine early to mid April and am now slated for the last week in May to the first week in June. No explanation yet from Oculus other than the original "component shortage" email.

wtf, over, I got the same email a couple days ago saying my order was pushed back another couple weeks, it showed a ship date of like first week of may, for giggles I checked again this morning and its showing a ship date fo July 14... this is bs, Im about to cancel this sh#$

That doesn't sound right. I would contact Oculus Support. It's possible that they tried to charge you in order to ship and it bounced back. If this is the case, as soon as you get your payment fixed, they'll put you in the next batch.
When did you order? What was your original ETA? If you ordered after the first hour, then July is probably correct. It's possible that you originally had a May shipping estimate and now it is July. My estimate was April and now it's end of May. My point is that it you shouldn't have gotten two different WEEKS. Just a month when you initially ordered and now the delayed week estimate.

I tried to make a ticket with support, but havent heard back and its been a few days. I got this email on lke 3-25-16 which is about the only proof I have that Im not crazy, For awhile I was showing a march 28th ship date, then that changed to like first part of may, now its showing July..

Are you sure you aren't looking at your cart? Going to the shop site will always show a NEW Rift order in your cart with an estimated shipping date based on if you placed an order TODAY. In order to get your actual order estimate, you'll need to login and actually go to your order history. That shouldn't give you a generic month but a specific week!

Ok wow, I finally figured out what was going on.. When I placed the order I didn't make an account and just ordered under "guest". So I couldn't log into an account and pull up my order. In order to view it I had to pull it up via an email I had received. Anyhow, when I placed my order I did it right when they were first made available however when I placed my order it just sat there and timed out. I didn't think it had gone through but I had to leave for work and didn't have time to troubleshoot the issue. The following day I placed another order that appeared to go through.
Long story short I placed 2 orders. My first order is set to ship on around april 25th and the second is july 4-14 or something. I never noticed I had 2 different order numbers when I viewed the email before. Sooo guess Ill just sell the second rift when I get it on ebay or something. yay Im still getting my rift end of the month. (fingers crossed)

I'm super jealous! It's kind of ironic that I've been making sure everyone is prepared for it launching and then had such a hard time actually ordering it.
