I downloaded last night.  Be warned, it's 13+GB. and the file you get from the PS store is just the installer, the full 13GB gets downloaded / installed while the game is running, I had to leave my PS on overnight.

I was able to play for about 20 minutes this morning before I had to go to work, the graphics are awesome, the NPC's have an interesting AI, but their movements were very scripted.  For example a lot of them would pop-out from cover on a very exact time schedule making it easy to "wait and shoot".  On the upside, I only noticed this when I, myself kept in one location for too long.

I'm going to take a break from Watch Dogs  for the night and play some more and report back.

I'll take one if you still got it.  I wouldn't mind checking it out.  I'd only be able to play a little in the evenings so if there's someone who would put it to better use, let them have it.

Ok, I got all my parts in and have started building! Waiting on Dago for most of it, though, as he has my thermal paste and I'm paranoid about messing something up!

You do know that Radio Shack sells thermal paste right?

I am currently running 2 GTX680 SLI, should be fine.

Nope.  No SLI or Crossfire for Oculus.  All kinds of frame rating issues, lag and latency stuff.  You'll need to disable SLI.  :/

Do you have any documents or links that can verify your claim, because I would like to be sure?

...I'll make sure to leave a partitioned drive just for porn for you.

Would have sold a lot sooner had you said that up front.

Looks like a very decent build.  Question though...Will the Rift need a Graphics card with that much memory?  Am I behind the times and all graphics cards have that much these days?  I have a couple Radeon HD 6970's (crossfired), do I need to be looking into upgrading in order to use the Rift?

I'm going to get so much hate mail for this but it looks like T and Manic 20 years from now.

Every time I tell myself that I've got too much going on to make the trip up there, I find myself reading this thread and thinking of what I can reschedule so I can make it.

When, on Saturday are things going to get started?  I wouldn't be able to do Friday but the Saturday get together is plausible.

Let's see...If I'm going to go through the trouble to use FA's 10 year anniversary as an excuse to visit DC again and hang out with friends sans the wife and kids, do I really want to crash at "Nursery del Dago?"

Decisions, decisions...

Never been to a DefCon unfortunately, but I definitely remember those old meetings.  I wish I had my redbox, even though they're obsolete now, I had made mine inside of a plastic 35mm film canister.

FACT: On the digital payphones that have the credit card reader (also known as "Millennium Payphones") , the dial tone you hear when you pick one up is just a recording being played by the phone itself.  The phone isn't technically "on" until you actually insert money.

This was done as a means to combat the various boxes used by the phreaking community.

I made a beige box in high school that I still have.  I keep it in my backpack whenever I go out of town in case of an emergency.  Amazingly enough it's never been questioned by the TSA.  :P

That's funny, I made a blue box and a red box when I was in high school, though I only carried them with me when some friends and I would go to 2600 meetings.  God that was sooo long ago.
