Hey for some reason at Naruto Kun.com episode 126 doesnt have subtitles. Anyone else know about this and if so is there anywhere i can find 126. Thanks! the chaos website downloads take forever.

Go check Narutocentral.com and see if they have it with subs yet. If they have it without subs, it just means they are still working on it and are releasing the unsubbed or RAW version for those junkies who just can not wait. It should be up and subbed in a day or two.

Yeah... I'm not too sure about that. You'd pretty much have to convince a friend to package their episodes into a torrent and set up a secret tracker.
Either that or bother your friends to burn them onto CD/DVD for you (that's what all of mine do).

I also had another question. I had a mod playstation back in the day when i used to import DBZ games, but i havent found an easy way to do it for the PS2. I want to get Naruto Hero 2 which i can find easy, but i cant find a legit mod or swapper.

Speaking of which, I think shikamaru is the only character that has been shown with both a mother and a father throughout the entire series. I have seen almost everyones father, but no one seems to have a mother except Kiba and Shikamaru.

Those DVDs are highly overpriced, you could make your own of the entire series up to current episode(129) for less than the total of all those dvds. alright im mad tired, so imma knock out to some old school shaman king fansubs(nothing at all like the crap they show here on foxbox, its not even for kids, and the main character is a pot head hah)

If you want a good PS2 mod chip, look for the people that did the X.B.I.T. chip for Xbox. They make a damn good sauterless(dont know how to spell that) chip. If you want Naruto episodes, get a program called Azureus and look for torrent at torrentspy.com. Lastly, I do believe they have shown Sakura's mom but i could be mistaken, they have shown Sasuke's mom's corpse too i believe. Your logic is flawed as usual Professor, MUHAHAHAHA.

Well that would be a little odd, and it does seem as though the Hyuga clan is a Naruto embodiment of the old chinese/japanese royal clans, and we all know that they kept it in the family (or rather branch family lol). Hinata is really cute and I'm sure Neji wouldn't mind since he thought she was cute when they met as kids. Although, I am postive that Professor would be very dissappointed if that actually ended up happening. I would say something else, but for the risk of spoilers, I will refrain from being like Arch's sis. lol

They showed Sasuke's mom in episode 129. Thanks boom i cancelled my order before they could ship it and does anyone else not like the new intro. The old one was alot cooler and the song was alot catchier.
P.S. Boom already knows this, but there is no region coding on UMD games for the PSP and they announced during the Japan release a fighting game for PSP. Im still not sure on UMD movies.

Good Orien. I just told you those sites because you wanted to buy them for some reason. It's much better if you DL from bit torrent as they are free. If you pay for the DVDs most of the time, people just burn copies of the big subbing companie's work and make a profit off of it themselves. I remember a funny subtext of Anime-One saying "this is a free fansub. If you paid for it, you're an idiot." HAHAHA that's good times. Like i said, DL them from bit torrent, fansubs are better and buying the DVDs from some punks who steal other people's work is not cool. Naruto for life, etc. etc. etc. PSP rules, yes it is region free and you can import the games, you just have to learn to read the japanese menus, but that's a given.

They show Sasuke's mom in the flashback, but you only hear Sakura's mom in the second episode. I have to agree with Boombye about buying Naruto DvDs, because that is what I did. I have the first 6 box sets, and I busted the friggin bank to get them too before I wisened up. The subbing is god awful and I can not stand to watch it with my less anime inclined friends. Every time I try to convert one they have to latch on to the obvious bad english and ask what words like "sook" mean or why they are calling the creepy killer with the sand gourd on his back "love."

Muhahaha Professor, Neji is the greatest and if you stop watching Naruto just because he starts to pwn your girl in her naughty spot then that is not cool on your part. I don't think it will happen but you really never know. In the Age of Kings and such, those types of marriages were simply for the fact of having a truce with your husband's or wife's organization. Since the head and branch family are both at odds, if would make sense (in a really super messed up, uber scary way) that Neji and Hinata could concievably get it on. The only thing that strikes me odd is in the Neo Gai Team picture, pic of Lee, Ten-Ten, and Neji later on, why the hell does Neji have like arab or muslim robes on? Did he like take a cue from Gara's wardrobe or something?

Awesome Orien, I will be picking up mine as soon as I can as well. We will need to hold an official FA tournament when we all get together in RL one day. Mainly so I can beat the hell out of Neji with Hinata for thinking dirty, dirty thoughts, but it will still be fun to see if Arch can back up his talk about not even needing his gates to handle shikamaru ;)

Yeah actually he is telling the truth about that cuz he beats the crap outta his friend Billy and his brother whenever they play shikamaru and they're pretty good with him. The main thing about shikamaru is that teleport move so if you sense it coming, you can easily block and counter for the kill. Besides, Neji will always beat shikamaru. If I hear that there will be tournie, then I will practice everyday to get great with Neji and beat the crap outta Shikamaru all day, every day. lol It's just that Arch is the only person I know that has it and I rarely go to his house to play it since he works so damn much and he doesn't like me over at his house :(. Also, I don't wanna get a Gamecube just for a few games, its not worth it for me, especially with the new Xbox and PS3 coming out right around the corner. Anyways, Love and Peace brothas.

Dude, the torrent files come just as the dvd box sets; 25 episodes per bundle (A-One is the best). Get that and if you have DSL, which im sure you do, it would take no more than a day to get 25 episodes. It really is not that hard, all you do is click some buttons and wait around. Sheesh man, maybe you should be Shikamaru of this faction LMAO. I still dont know why you're so hell bent on spending money when there is plenty of free opportunities out there. Were tryna help you get these episodes for free man, take advantage of that.

Actually they always struck me as the team with much influence from chinese themes...TenTen with her chinese styled outfit.. Then Gai and Rock Lee with their bruce lee mannerisms and fob haircut. Neji seemed the most different out of all of them..But now he got a nice new outfit that helps him fit in more with the team..It looks like a combination of northern japanese priest outfit with a hint of a chinese theme to it...

Yeah, I think I mentioned this already, but I have all of the currently released Naruto games in my possession (except GNT:1, because it's worthless).
I use the handy little Swap-Disc/Slide-Card combo to play the Narutimett Hero games on PS2, and the FreeLoader Swap Disc dealy for the GC games (is there any other way?)
So, I've played through pretty much all of them completely, therefore feel free to ask me any questions If you're confused or just want to know how awesome they are.
(PS: Funny that you refer to Gai/Lee as having "Bruce Lee mannerisms", Boom, because before my group of friends had seen the series and were playing the game with me, they all called him "Bruce Lee" for lack of a better or known name)

Orien turn back, there is still time. Xtreem knows not of what he speaks, and Neji just got in a lucky hit against Hinata(Still a cool avatar, even if it hurts me to watch it).
Just wait until I get my copy next month and start my ninja training. We will see how well Neji and Lee stand before Shikamaru and Hinata. Of course Orien will be the designated punching bag, he can be Sakura or Chouji ;)

But, there was some other site that had it that wasn't nearly as shady as Modchip.com
The package took 4x as long to get here as they said it did, and they didn't respond to my numerous e-mails asking where it was and why it wasn't here yet. I'll look through my favorites to see if I can find it, because I seem to remember them selling it for even cheaper.
Arch: You've got your consoles mixed up. GNT3 is the gamecube fighter game. To play it, you need "FreeLoader", which is just one disc that you put in first and then take out by opening the top of the cube and putting the real game in.
The swappy/slidy combo thing is used for ps2 games (Narutimett Hero), which essentially involves jimmying open your PS2 door with a oddly shaped piece of plastic after you put the disk in and it works its magic. Sounds kind of scary, but actually isn't that bad. It doesn't void your warrenty at all like modchips do.
Orien: Doesn't surprise me. Naruto's been licensed, if you remember correctly. Things haven't gotten too bad yet, since there still seem to be companies releasing the newer episodes. But I'm guessing once they license the more recent episodes (Maybe they only payed for the early ones, incase the series bombs near the end) they too will be hard to come by.

Logical Explanation - Sasuke is so consumed with avenging his clan and killing his brother that he has begun to think of nothing else but what he can do to become more powerful. Obviously, he has lost all care and appreciation for his fellow teammates, especially Sakura. Not even her "love" could stop him.
Fangirl Explanation - Squeeeeeee! He's GAY! That's why! OMG OMG so kawaiiiiii!

It also helps if you had watched the series from begining to end. Right from the start Sasuke is not all to interested in Sakura, and for good reason. That girl is friggin annoying. The entire team grows close bonds with each other, but Sasuke never really expresses more than comradarie with Sakura despite her constant "SASUKE-KUN"ing.. He is hell bent on revenge with a serious inferiority complex to boot(inspired not only by his brother and father, but by his constant competition with Naruto) which is a big part of why he is the prick you are currently getting to see, but it is a bit easier to empathize when you follow his decline from the begining. I am really interested to see what becomes of that kid, but I wont say any more for fear of spoiler content.

I'd have to /agree with the fact that Sakura is fucking annoying. Her and Ino combined are enough to make you want to rip your ears off.
But she's still decent looking (anyone, remember the hot spring scene in episode 101?).

It'll pick up the fight on 131; it should at least. In the manga, the flashback actually isnt that long so it's ok calm down. Watching Sasuke makes me sick too Orien. To expand on the summary of him... Sasuke is really too self absorbed and full of so much pity for himself that he refuses himself to see anything other than killing his brother. His brother tells him how to get the improved sharingan, and like the loyal follower, Sasuke follows it. The funny thing is that Sasuke, again, is full of so much self pity that he doesn't see that he is willingly following down the same path as his brother and that by pursuing his useless goal of revenge, he will accomplish nothing but the death of his clan. That is my character analysis of Sasuke and that's why i hate him. I can't stand characters, or people for that matter, that are selfish, self-absorbed, and think their better than everybody else. Neji used to be the same way and I thought he was cool but i thought he was dickhead. I used to like Shino up until the Neji vs Kiddimaro fight. Neji saw the light and the error of his hypocritical ways and started to think of the team, and his friends, over all else(something Sasuke will probably never understand). My favorite trait in a character is selfless sacrifice which is why I love the samurai so much, they are willing to give their lives for any reason if it would serve their clan or friends better. Sasuke on the other hand cannot see that although he may have lost his family, Naruto never had one to begin with. Although Sasuke may have only felt the pain of lonliness since he entered the academy, Naruto has felt it his entire life. Sasuke likes to blame the way he is on the fact that his brother killed his clan and whatever but from situations like that, you allow yourself to succumb to the emotions. Turning the psychology, a person is never completely affected by any event in his outside environment. You only allow yourself to be affected by your own choices. If matix has taught us anything, it is the power of choice. I know i'm paraphrasing but i believe it was Covey who said, "It is in between stimulus and response that humans have the greatest choice, the power to choose that response." Everyone is responsible for their own actions and it pisses me off to see a character so wrapped up in his own life, that he refuses to acknowledge anyone elses life. He chooses to live in lonliness. Unlike Naruto, Sasuke was actually like by many people in the village but he chose not to talk to them or anything; Naruto had no choice of lonliness, eveyone didn't like him. Ok back to my point, we all know the saying, "It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all." That is the premise behind Sasuke and Naruto and Sasuke is so self-absorbed and such a complete jackass, that he doesn't see that Naruto has suffered more so than him; and the sad thing is that Naruto became a better person because of it and Sasuke became a whiny, self-absorbed, pompous dickhead. Revenge is a bullshit motive to begin with, but at least if you're gonna seek revenge, be badass with it like The Punisher. sheesh. Sorry for the essay lol, just my thoughts.
P.S. Sakura is annoying, but I would definitely hit that.

I think we are knocking Sasuke a little to hard though. In a way he has walked his own path, seperate form his brother. It seems that his time with Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura have served to make him what he is almost as much as his brother did. Him finally snapping is more a culmination of bad luck that started right after the final encounter with Haku and Zabuza.
No matter how hard he worked at something, Naruto always seemed to be the one to win it. Alot of those times it was just Naruto getting lucky, building off of what Sasuke had already done, but Sasuke could never really see that. Every time he would start on a path of acceptance and begin to move on, something would happen to draw him back into that desire for revenge.
And if you have been reading the magna, it gives a strong argument that Sasuke has chosen to walk his own path... Though the whole Orochimaru relationship is kinda... creepy. Even more so when you consider that latest in Japanese anime fangirl crazes... I mean.... wtf?

If Sasuke could put his arragent self aside for like two seconds he could be as good if not better than Naruto, but he feels the need to distance himself from everyone including his teacher. His outlook doesnt seem to happy i have a feeling near the end he will realize what he was loosing and then die. Its a text book ending, but for some reason as ive started watching the beginning episodes I cant keep that fate of Sasuke out of my head.

Actually, it's just because Naruto has the Kyuubi inside him and knows how to tap its power. That gives him a huge fucking advantage.
I mean, come on, try to imagine Naruto if he didn't have that insane power to save his ass every time. Do you have any idea how boned he would be?
He has a huge, unfair advantage over Sasuke that he really takes for granted.
Without it, he'd be a mediocre ninja at best.
(Yes, I know, the Sharingan is insanely strong if used right. Maybe Sasuke would be more 1337 if he got his act together and figured out how to pwn with it, but the Sharingan really can't do much compared to a huge, raw, seemingly limitless source of chakra that can be tapped at will.)

Hey Midnight before i buy Hero 2 are there any voice work in the game or is it strictly text. And if so is it the voice actors from the show? Where do you buy your Imports from im skeptical of Buyrite and Lik-sang as ive seen some negative reviews about how long it takes to get them.

They're very reliable, legitimate, and nice, it just takeas a little while (unless you want to pay a small fortune for shipping) to get it here.
I also found a place called www.estarland.com that has all of the games, but for some reason I didn't feel like ordering from them. I think their prices were a bit higher or something. They seem pretty legit too.
I think in most of the games there are voiceovers, and there are voice actors.
If I remember correctly, in Narutimett Hero 2 there is a lot more new original dialogue (since it's a new side-story and not just a re-hash of the series story) and they accompany it with those scrolling text bubbles.

I do feel kinda scared about using my slide card is it pretty easy to use? And thanks for the sites il check em out. Watched some videos of Hero 2 today and was blown away. It looks awesome.

Once you've got everything set up, the SlideCard is cake to use. It's a bit creepy at first because you're not too sure if you're doing stuff right, but the instructions they give you make it insanely simple.
I'd say the only tricky part of the process is having to take off the little piece of plastic that's attached to the front of your disc-tray (because you can risk breaking a little clip that won't let you put it back on--if you ever want to).

Ok, first of all. Ive really been thinking about getting Narutimate Hero 2 for PS2 and modding it out just for that game. The thing is that I know the PS3 is gonna come out sometime next year and I dont know if itll really be worth it to mod out my PS2. Any opinions?
Secondly, my thoughts are rarely organized, ask Arch. I have so much shit running through my head at once that sometimes I just zone out and have to think about wtf Im thinking about. At the time, those were just my thoughts in a nutshell on how Sasuke was. If hed be more like Neji and learn from his experiences with Naruto instead of seeing himself as a loser and thinking so negatively, maybe he could come back and be cool. But that won't happen for a while.
P.S. Ive been reading the mangas a lot now and ive almost caught up to the end right now, and I must say, I like where the new series is going.

Well the thing is that the slide card operates on you focibly opening the tray with the card. This can, over time, wear down the cranks that open and close the tray and eventually screw up the motor. I have heard many problems on IRC of people having the tray get stuck on them and not being able to open the PS2 by using the slide card method. Then you would have to void the warranty anyways to open up the PS2 and getting the disk out yourself. It's cheaper of course, but you get what you pay for.
I am getting the flip cover as it is much safer to use and you dont screw with the motor of the PS2, you simply just do away with it altogether. It is a little more expensive but is definitely worth the extra security in my eyes.
P.S. My warranty is already voided since I had to open up the PS2 and clean and adjust the laser since it stopped reading discs for a while.

Well, you dont have to saw a hole. I dont know where you got that from Midnight lol. All you do is unscrew the case, remove the top, disconnect the reset button, and attach the flip top. It's not that hard.
Besides, for every case where it works fine, there are many that have had theirs screw up. There is always an exception to any rule or something but i have heard absolutely no complaints on the flip top so thats the way for me.
P.S. I like how this thread just totally drifts off topic all the time. We should just call this thread "Naruto Fans Ramble On" or something.

This game for the PS2 is the RPG though right? How do you play an RPG in another language? The fighting game I can understand, but an RPG seems a bit more difficult.

Hero 2 is a fighting game with an new small RPG mini game that you can get trophies and shit. There is a translated Version on gamefaqs.com. Well the PSP is non coded on games so maybe they are listening to our crys to stop coding games.

That rocks. I like that suit, but the tape wrapped around his arm is trademark. Its cool i totally understand if you feel uneasy about it. I almost crapped when i was using it for the first time, but its soo easy now. Hero 2 is the god of all fighter games it is the coolest game ive played in a long time. DBZ games need to take notes from these guys. Even though Bandai makes DBZ games Atari screws em up.

Well, to be honest Professor, I have heard much better things about Hero 2. Its shocking though cuz GNT 3 is so damn awesome and yet people still like Hero 2 better. Mainly because it has the DOA Beach Volleyball item buying/collecting and one of the best RPG stories of any fighter ever made. The only complaint Ive ever heard is that the battles take too long (typically around 10 mins). However, when you get good, you can beat it in a few mins.
Another thing most people rave about is the fact that like GNT 3, the game should mostly be played on the defensive. Countering your foes and exploiting their weaknesses are integral parts of the game. That's the best thing about the Naruto games, they perfectly mimick the strategic nature of the anime. DBZ is just your basic fighting game, this is the supreme master of the anime turned game format. Other anime games should take notice and learn from it.

Nothing wrong with that of course, since Neji is super 1337.
I think they did a nice job with the flashbacks in episode 131.
Finally, some flashback material that actually has substance, reveals good info, and makes sense related to the story.
I'm eager to see how they handle this next fight scene, if they splurge and make the animation kickass.
You know how they cut corners sometimes, like with the Naruto/Kimimaro fight...such crappy animation and quality.
But it was building up to the insane ruckus that Lee was about to bring, so they had to save quality for the good stuff.
My feeling is that this fight between Sasuke and Naruto is going to be wicked awesome in terms of animation and how they pull it together, since it's at the very end of this main storyline arc of Naruto, and just before the beginning of the next huge one.
(Yes...I read the manga...none of this is new to me)

Agreed midnight, this fight should be something to see. I cant talk to much for fear of spoiling it for those not reading the magna, but I can not wait to see how the animate this. Though in all honesty, if we had not already read the magna, I bet we would have found Sasuke's flashback episodes alot more interesting. But I do admit, they probably could have squeezed that into 2 episodes instead of 3.
Though I have actually noticed just the opposite in the fight scenes of the anime. It seems to me like they actually add extra to the major fight scenes, the entire Kimimaro fight had content about his past that was not even in the magna. Not to mention, look how great they have done the previous fights! If they put that much work into the Lee/Gaara/Kimimaro battle, they for damn sure are not going to slack on the final confrontation b/w Naruto and Sasuke in this story arc.
So what do you think about the movie that is coming out next week? It is going to have nothing on these final episodes, but does it still have some potential? I am not to sure myself, could be cool, but even for great anime's the creators generally try to make the movies for people who have not watched the series. By that I mean, try to cram way to much into a confined timeframe and miss out on alot of the quality it could have had if the movie had been geared more to those who have been keeping up with the series.

Well, I agree with you there Professor. I have noticed that Naruto is the only anime I have ever seen that actually adds more to the actual anime than even the manga did. Normally it is quite the opposite (Trigun manga series). It's nice to see that the creators actually take full advantage of the new medium and make it better for even people who read the mangas can still get surprised by watching the anime. GENIUS!!!!!!!
Secondly, in the manga they had about a 2 page exposition of Orochimaru briefly explaining Kimimaro's past. However, in the anime, they turned that 2 page dialogue into almost a half episode of nice animation and even made it interesting by throwing Zabuza and Haku into the mix. lol
Lastly, yes. They could have easily turned the flashback into a 2 episode rush job if they wanted to. I mean the chapters in the manga are maybe about a total of 2 or 3, i forget. But, I actually like the way they are doing it now. In the manga it was just straight Sasuke backstory for 2 whole chapters (which is why it was probably boring for me.) In the anime, they throw in little extra scenes of Naruto getting pwned by Sasuke at the beginning and end of each of the episodes. They also have some nice transitions between the flashbacks and live action. I'm sure Orien knows what I mean (since we both know a little something about making movies,) that just showing straight flashbacks would be terribly boring. Throwing these extra action scenes in keeps the audience interested and also adds some nice breaks from the (sorry to say Midnight) utter boring, make you wanna slit your wrists, flashbacks of Sasuke. LMAO

I know it's shortly before episode 74/75, because that's when Sasuke goes after Gaara and busts the Chidori again. I'd probably say like the early 60's. I could be wrong, though.

Evangelion was awesome for the first 12 episodes. Then out of nowhere, it got all deep and philisophical. Dont get me wrong, I love philosophy but when it just comes out of nowhere like that, it gets frustrating. Great series that took a turn for the worse.
I watched the first 4 episodes of FMA and i got a little bored and stopped for MXO and school and stuff. I wasnt that interested right off the bat so I took a break from it for a while.

It didn't suddenly drop off a cliff into a bottomless pit of philosophy at episode 13.
In fact, if you'd been paying attention for those first 12 episodes, they were slowly slipping in bits and pieces of their philosphy, just in a way that it wouldn't be so much all at once.

Bah, we will see. I have it downloading now and should be done by the time I get my work break in about 2 hours. I expected a mix of flashbacks and fighting, but not another full flashback episode. There is a possibility that the anime is adding more backstory, it has been known to do that in the past.

I dont know what those idiots were talkin about but that episode kicked more ass than i ve ever seen. There were like spliced 3 second flashbacks but it made the experiences between Sasuke and Naruto more real with emotion. I really dont want to give anything away because you all need to enjoy this for what it is worth. This is a huge payoff for watching this anime to see something created and cut so well. I give a round of applause to the editor of this episode.

Glad to hear you say that Orien. I just finished watching it and came to much the same conclusion. Most likely the people who were complaining are the DBZ dorks that just watch for the fight scenes. Don't misunderstand, I really enjoy the fights, but what makes Naruto so different is the level of empathy the series develops between the characters and the viewer. It adds a great depth to the series that so many anime's lack.
By the way, how much of the earlier series have you gotten so far Orien?

Right now im toying around with Neji, but Shikamura has the best chain combos so far that ive played with. Neji is definately the powerhouse when it comes to specials. Naruto blows his specials arent that great ands its tough to get off his major one. The button layout is great Square is your knives, X is jump, Circle is punching and Triangle gives a Chakura power burst. The levels rock and are full integrated with fighting. I was being chased by an enemy and did a wall run with Neji jumped off it and threw three knives. This game is great, but beware of the RPG as it is tough to swtch from my translation pages to a walkthrough. LOl one of the hardest fights is in the beginging of the game when you fight as Sasuke vs. Gaara.

Well, I ordered my flip top and will be getting that and Hero 2 soon. The only thing that pisses me off is that Shino is a real character now (BADASS!!!!!!), however, they say that all of his moves are just animations taken from other characters and his first two chakra specials are just summoning Kiba and Hinata to do their specials. That's really fucking lame to see them not put forth much effort to make original characters. Dont get me wrong, I love Hinata, but I think having more Shino signatures would have been much better. Although I'm sure the rest of the game makes up for it.
Of course everyone here knows that Neji will be my one true character for the game and I will seek to master him in all his glory. MUHAHAHA

Well guys, I just saw the Naruto movie last night and it was pretty damn good, not the best, but really good (Especially how Sakura and Sasuke take out 2 ninjas). Also, the best part of the movie was when SASUKE CALLS ON NARUTO FOR HELP!!!!!!
Yeah that was a pretty good drawing but when you are dealing the pencil drawing like that, it is required to do some sort of shading otherwise it turns out crap. Another hint when doing pencil drawings, never draw clearly defined lines. As stated above, it is better to give the drawing a shaded look than a clearly defined one. This makes the picture look almost too perfect and actually detracts from the real art. Dont ask me why, just some psychology stuff but the human mind actually distorts images on its own so if you draw imperfect stuff, your mind will interpret it as being perfect (i.e. The Parthenon). My drawing isn't even that good by the way and I really dont wanna embaress myself by posting it here.

Thanks for the tips reason i re drew clearer lines is because my light shading lines turned out poopy. Shading wise I posted this as just a warm up to what i think i can do. I used to be able to draw DBZ shit pretty well but it has been years since i drew anything. lol this naruto shit is getting to me. Arch and I oogled over some Sharigan lenses, but they cost 200 for a pair of those smackaroos.

I'd have to say it was pretty good too, even though it was unrelated to the series (and got a little cheezy at times). Sasuke was pwn as usual, and I thought it was pretty neat when he and Sakura took down those two ninjas as well.
BTW: After the credits- best part ever. I feel for Kakashi.

Yeah dude, that fight was fuckin' awesome. So much ass-whooping left and right.
But Sasuke is going to bring all the ruckus now (like he wasn't already in this episode, those mad kung-fu moves. It reminded me of teh Burly Brawl).

I was very happy with 133, the animation was definately top notch. Episodes like that just make the wait for the next week that much harder!
The movie was so-so, but most anime movies can never live up to the series. I did like Sasuke and Sakura beating down those two ninjas though, you don't get to see her do anything of use in the series to often :)

The animation in 133 was frickin awesome. It showed pretty much every single fight move clearly and deviated from your typical anime style of flashy lines behind the character to signify movement. Also, I love the slight distortion effect they used when the characters were fighting too, it just makes the fights seem all the more real and badass.

I hope you have Nero. Here's how I burned my Hero 2 game. I hope you DL .iso files cuz that just makes it that much easier.
Go into Nero, select the recorder icon on the top panel and go down and click on the burn image icon. then you just select the .iso file from the directory and burn it. Unfortuantely, it gets more complicated and you might need another program if you get non .iso files from the torrent DL.

Just finished watching the episode, I dont know what you are smoking Orien but that was a damn good episode. One the most perfect manga interpretations i've ever seen. But, if you're feeling down, after the next episode is where the series just upgrades about 10 lvls of badassness (that's right, I can make up words.) The only thing that struck me weird was that Sasuke didn't awaken his Mangyekou yet. In the manga he does without even killing Naruto for some reason.

He'll probably make best friends with someone else, he's probably going to spend more time with Orochimaru then he ever did with Team 7. Imagine that gap. It's very possible he has enough time to become very close with someone else as opposed to his bonds with Naruto in that short time.

Also if you have third soundtrack, get the "Heavy Violence" track out, and right when 134 is at 7:56/57...which is right when they fade back to Sasuke from Itachi...At that exact moment as soon as u see Sasuke, press PLAY on the Heavy Violence song...The whole episode has music except for that part..after you play that song, notice how the beat goes with everything, even the climax, and the part with sasuke's hand, etc.

AHHHHHHHHH two weeks and still no damn flip top. This place my bro reccomended sucks. It's like 5-15 days shipping and even that cost me 10 bucks. I've been reading FAQs and guides on gamefaqs and drueling over how awesome some of the missions are. Holy shit, there are a lot of characters; I think it may be more than GNT3. Even Zabuza is in the game (CURSE YOU SABRE!!!!!!!!!!) Anyways I gotta get to work right now, hopefully I'll see you all in-game later tonight.

And Zabuza is potent, particularly against Lee and other Taijutsu focused characters. His sword has alot of reach and he has one of the few particular potent(and damn easy to use) ranged jutsus. But no worries, it can be overcome. I have been practicing with the ascended Hinata and can pwn him without much difficulty. Though the only opponent I have(that offers a real challenge) mainly uses Sasuke, so I am not too sure how I would do against someone really good with Zabuza.
I take back everything bad I said about the hidden Hinata character, she just takes some getting used to. Once you get the swing of it, she rocks! Now I just need to get the Gamecube version so I can practice with more than 1v1.

yeah zabuza is the same way in GNT3... his sword has the reach from japan to fucking texas.... so yeah :P me and him are pretty matched on normal days... some days i fucking suck.

I have to say Kakashi is the pwn in Hero 2 i turned the game on hard and played as him against Itachi and pwned his God mode ass. It was down to the wire and i only had about 1/4 health, but i played so good i blacked out.

You are only fueling my rage that I cannot play it myself AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. lol That is a pretty crappy Cosplay of Neji though cuz Neji's shirt is actually like a basche gray color not bright white like that. Also, the forehead protector thing "it" (I say it as it is hard to tell if cosplayers are guys or girls sometimes) has kinda sucks. I have a better one for god sakes. I just need to get a black one. At the time I bought it was all up in Kakashi's jock so I got the navy blue one. But now i need to get the black one. They also should have just drawn some little lines on the edges of "its" eyes. Little touches like that would have made it much more cool looking.

The Hinata is beautiful, though I have seen that one before. Hinata is one of the harder characters to really pull off in cosplay, and any girl who can do it well is simply amazing.

Yeah, they always have bullshit episodes after the main story archs in the anime, the manga gets to the point which is why I like it. Hopefully, the series won't turn to total shit but you know, after 136 episodes, you have to expect that the series might die soon. Naruto is one of the few series' that I've seen that gets better and better and better every single episode that passes.

Yea well it's expected from American dubbing. They don't care two shits about the source material. They buy the rights so they can make money; isn't the american business motivation great. In Japan it's about the love of the product. That is just another showing of how shallow and crappy the general american public is.
Secondly, American voice actors suck to begin with, it's like they don't even listen to the japanese voices to get motivation like they should. There isn't big market in America for voice actors so there isn't a lot of money involved so many people don't go down that career (anothing great example of american greed.) Soooooooooooooo the Naruto dubs are expected to suck as most do. There are only two exceptions, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust has the best dubbing I have ever seen, and Cowboy Bebop does a damn good job. The rest are just painful to watch after you hear the japanese voices. The bringing of the show to Cartoon Network only create more 10 yr old fanboys but at least we can all say, "we watched it before you, we watched the much better original version, and we're the baddest mothafuckas alive." LMAO

137 was pretty good. At least their getting to the psuedo-point of this side story now. The next few episodes should be better but no where near as good as the episodes in the Sasuke running away arc.

I think I am going to take a naruto breather for a bit. Since we finally finished that big arc, it seems a good of a time as any. Once the filler episodes are through and it is getting into the new arc, I will pick them all up and enjoy a nice weekend Naruto Marathon. I will probably keep reading the magna, since I am too far into it to just stop, but I will give the actually series some time.

It seems like it will work out pretty good in the end. If you notice, Sasame is pretty much the exact equivalent of Sakura so I'm sure they'll be good "friends" (aka lesbian lovers.) lol But hopefully Sakura will learn something from her about not being a whiny bitch anymore and it will add more clarity to her character shift unlike in the manga where it just jumps 2 yrs or so.

Basicly Naruto kicks the ass out of any anime that i have seen i cant vouche for the other die hards here But its about Naruto who wants to become Hokage=Head Ninja of his Village. He and various other ninjas go to ninja school to train and go on missions. Equally action packed and hilarious in the early episodes. Naruto has slowly progressed into a great story between two characters emotions and thats where il stop cause yo have to see this. Definately not some fad. This show pwns you to pwn castle.

However, in the past 24 hrs I have managed to complete watching Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic: Fumofuu, and FLCL so I now kick ass. I think next I'll start watching Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex and then maybe Lain or Bleach after that. There is so much stuff I have right now but I have a lot of time to watch them now this summer so WOOT WOOT

Awesome find Ferris, great for getting the early episodes(the BT is so incredibly slow). Hook Omegus up so he can get the first few episodes without going through troublesome Bit torrent. If you liked Niaja the little ninja, you should love Naruto Omegus.

BT operates off of popularity. If it's not popular, it'll go slow cuz there arent enough seeds to distribute it. For the earlier episodes, it is best to go throught the fan sites to get those. As you get later on though, you should be able to find some on BT for reasonalbe speeds.

Ok, I'm hooked. Downloaded and watched first 8 ep's last night. Honestly thought it was a bit childish at first, but then I found I couldn't stop watching. I can't remember all the names of characters atm, but damn that sinsei of theirs is bad ass. The student Susuke, think that's his name, is far cooler than that loud mouth Naruto at this point IMO. Can't wait to see how this story progresses. Thanks guys for turning me on to this. And a special thanks to Ferris. Very cool.

*warning for those new to Naruto, Spoilers ahead*
Well, I just finished watching the new episodes. I don't particularly have a problem with the new story plot, it is an interesting twist. However they are starting to be a bit care bearish about things. I remember in the first 100 or so episodes, I felt like anything could happen, and it kept me on my toes. Now it is just about stagnant characters whose motivations are getting a bit repetative. I still think Chouji and Neji should have (at least Chouji) not made it back from that mission. Letting one of the main support characters die would have made the consequences of the ninja life they are trying to portray more evident. In fact, the lack of consequences and Naruto's, "Hey look! Its a side quest!" attitude are starting to push me away.
However, absolutely none of that applies to the manga! It stays right on track and keeps things going the way it should be! The files I downloaded were corrupt, so I havent read the three most recent ones yet, but I have no doubt they will be impressive.
I think it will just result in a series where I own the entire collection, but skips certain box sets when I am showing it off to friends =)

Well, what do you expect? The mange is great for the story to move forward and keep the good stuff coming. The show actually explains more and goes more in depth than the mange does. The manga is all fire but not really any spark. I like the manga cuz its cool and gets to the point, but I also like the show cuz it explains more about the characters.
You have to respect both in their own right. The action and drama is meaningless without character development but the character stuff is "boring" and "uninteresting" to many people. It's a constant battle and the character stuff usually gets cut. I love the fact that the anime goes more in depth, its usually the other way around.

I'm the same way, Omegus. I can't stop watching anymore! And with a new episode every week, I always have something to do. I can't imagine the amount of work that goes into producing an animated program that does not have a hiatus. I've got to give it up to the animators.

Well, Shikamaru's ability to control his shadow like that isn't really "bloodline" per say, but it is still an art passed on only in his clan. Without that, he would be nothing, just like everyone else without their talents. Shino wouldn't be much of anything without his bugs, but that is his talent. Kankuro wouldn't be anything with those damn crazy ass puppets of his. Lee has no talent but he makes up for in his brute strength. Unfortunately, brute strength is most succeptable to tactics so if he were to become strategic, he would pwn the shit outta everyone. THAT IS ALL!!!!!! Stop bitching you guys, sheesh. lol

Actually, I unlocked all the characters on Tues. She pwns in that game but the key thing is that that is a "what-if" Hinata. I don't think that'll ever really happen. Even Hiashi said that her little sister is more powerful than Hinata. Unless she starts harnessing her emotions to drive her to become stronger, like Lee did, she'll never come close to being that way.

Hinata is completely untapped potential, I think that was shown pretty clearly. The fact of the matter is, none of us know what she can do. If she trains hard and gains confidence in herself, I can see her actually becoming that hidden Naruto character. And this is not a cheap shot at Neji either, just imagine what a great plot twist it would be for those two to have a rematch and be at equal levels! WOW, Orien, you must really have a fascination with boobs. That's all you seem to notice in any female character you come across. I think that Ed's sensei from FMA should be included too. WOOT WOOT it's about time they got the story back on track. At lest they won't be totally leaving out all the great scenes in the manga, I hope they show Neji and Shino just like in the manga. It was a pretty good story arch but it really wasn't neccesary to propell the story in the same direction the manga is going. Knowing the anime, they'll probably throw in more filler episodes of the actual training Naruto and Sakura go through.

Anyways, Just saw the new episode. It was just as I figured, another side story, however, this one seems interesting from the start; JUST SEE HOW FUCKING BUFF ROCK LEE IS, OMFG!!!!!!!!! /clears throat ok, the only thing I didn't like was how they didn't show Asuma fight at all. They had the perfect chance to finally expand on Kurenai and Asuma and they choose not to do so, WTF? They should have at least showed a little bit of them fighting. I think Asuma is just plain badass but I want to see more and they haven't showed anything of Kurenai as of yet.
I loved the scene with Naruto reading the "secret scroll" Jiraiya gave him LMAO. Plus, there seems to be great potential with them bringing back a lesser character in such a dramatic way.

Well, to be honest, Rock Lee isn't a very badass SOUNDING person to begin with. He is always very goofy in his voice but cool in his actions, I wouldn't be surprised if they guy who did the voice for Vash in Trigun does Rock Lee.

Naruto somewhat sounds like the original. They kept the background music from the original so thats a plus for me.

There's not much to be said that can't be summed up in a quick kick to the groin of the retards that did the dubbing. Not only are the characters showing almost no emotion in their voices, they also made the characters sound like those from an Inuyasha episode (which I don't like.)
Meh, things are looking Grim. I wish there would be more good dubbing like that in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and Cowboy Bebop. I guess many companies in america don't understand the power of voice like the japanese do.

What I am hoping is that they dubbing will get better as the episodes go on... once they get a little better at what they do... if you watch the original Naruto episodes in japanese and the most recent ones... I think the more recent ones sound better.. more comfortable.. but that my just be me

I tried to watch it with an open mind, however, I was still disappointed. It may be a decent dub, but, when compared to the greatness of the show, they killed it.
I just don't think I could stand seeing Bleach dubbed either. Naruto and Bleach are very japanese themed in both language and setting; I don't think it will be possible to get good enough people to live up to those shows. I just don't like dubs. American voice actors take the "actor" out of voice actor (or lack thereof.)

Nope, still doesn't work for me. Anyways, it's only Alpha right now, not Beta. It's been at 99% for about a week and nothing has happened, so, nobody knows. There is no link for signup as of yet until they actually release it. At that point, I'm sure Orien will post a link the second it does though. He is always checking up on it like a beast.

Episode 3 wasnt that bad Sasuke and Kakashis voice were ok. They cut out some stupid shit though. Like the cigarette in one of the Jounins mouth and the accidental kiss scene.

notice how you don't get too see cool lines like that in the anime... well you do kinda, but whenever they try, it's usually transparent or white lines and is barely visible, like they try to blend it in or something....
like neji's hakke for the first time on naruto, could've showed some cool manga style lining, but just had these transparent and blurry streaks.... get what im sayin?

The manga however is still the better of the 2 right now, with Naruto busting out the 4th tail.

Yea I still watch, but Im not really happy about it. It seems the filler right now is including Anko's curse seal problems with what Sasuke is going through. I thought it was cool we saw Sasuke for the first time in a very long time in new robes none the less.
