I haven't consciously made a decision to try to be light or grey. I will let my character's beliefs and personality guide his actions based on what he thinks is for the better good of those who do not harbor ill will. He will, however always be firmly committed to opposing the Sith and any other form of evil. We will see where this takes him.

....it may be time for another character back story.

Hey folks if you didn't notice the SWTOR website was down for a long time yesterday. I was asking last night on TS if anyone had an idea as to why it was down so long. Well if you trace swtor.com the server is now in .... Austin, Tx. Darth Hater confirms:

"So I did a ping of the SWTOR.com address yesterday when maintenance started. The IP address was 159.153.92.41, a server owned by EA in Redwood City, California. Performing that same ping today, now that maintenance has ended, shows an IP address of 74.203.191.59, a server located in Austin, Texas."

In other very interesting news Blizcon (Blizzard's big yearly self love attempt at a gaming convention) is 10/21 to 10/22 and IGN posted the following:"Tomorrow at 9 AM Pacific you can look forward to a pile of new content. Then starting Monday (the 24th) and lasting through to Friday (the 28th) we'll be posting a brand new Old Republic article every. Single. Day."

Then Stephen Reid Tweets: "As others have noted, we have a press embargo on #SWTOR dropping tomorrow. We've had press in for a while. Testers are still under NDA. That means if you're in testing, you're still bound by NDA. Only press who have been admitted will be sharing their impressions."

Is the NDA going away during Blizzcon to steal the thunder and attention from Blizzard?

Ha, nice find. Have they been putting patch notes there? I know in our weekend testing there were no patch notes.

From what I've heard they aren't on top of this link a lot. It's an outside chance but if they update it then it's like gold. Also, I would think that this link (or one like it) will be invaluable after release to know what's new.
