because with trial/free accounts, apparently you can't make new threads, only reply to current ones.

That said, desc1ple shows up while me, n4su2 and reaper2u are trying to get screenshots of the exploit to post on the boards. Technically Desc1ple didn't get there in time to takes screenshots of me exploiting, but needless to say, I jacked out and posted on the boards as fast as humanly possible.

Do you mean the one where you go to LA but can still walk in the game as a bluepill?  It's been around for a while

no i mean where you have access to your loading area (hardlines) and can go around punting people and then "recalling" yourself to anywhere without a recaller and while still in interlock.

Think that's part of the same sploit.  You used to only be able to walk around, but not actually hit anyone and nobody could hit you (basically it was Master Shadow).  Didn't realize punt also worked

Funny enough, I encountered this bug back in beta. Except that with me, the interface for the loading area remained up. I was able to pull things from my loading area, swap abilities anywhere and at anytime, and teleport to whatever hardline I wanted from anywhere...I reported way back then, and it was supposedly fixed...I guess part of it stuck.

indeed you are able to pull up any window from the loading area, swap abilities mid fights, but most importantly, when you bring up the HL list, the loading area screen dissappears and you have full view of your screen and a handy personal teleporter button "jack into the matrix"

Here's how to do it in all it's gritty detail

Step 1: Change your resolution to 800x600

Step 2: Start up a mission team, your buddy has recall loaded.

Step 3: You're both standing next to a hardline, so you can target the hardline and still see him.

Step 4: He starts to recall you, as soon as you see the animation, attempt to enter the loading area.

Step 5: You're now bugged, you're in the world, but your screen shows the loading area.

Step 6: press \ to bring up your options, change resolution to something higher. You can now see again

Step 7: click on the hardline tab of the loading area, brings up the hardline menu as if you were standing next to a hardline.

Step 8: select any hardline, now you can close that window and have full view of your screen again

Step 9: PvP as you normally would, except you have a button in the middle of your display that says "Jack into the Matrix"

Step 10: If you're getting killed, at any time, feel free to click on the button and POOF, you're at whatever hardline you selected. Immortality for the win!

Step 11: This bug remains until you log off.

yeah, very serious exploit, i watched dag do it.  Almost is creapy knowing at any time you could be fighting, winning, and poof gone. Not what i call pvp.

Hmmm... I think trillionx was using that sploit  a couple weeks ago. Every time she was near death she would hardline out. I guess this explains how she did it.
