Title: Warhammer 40K MMORPG to be unveiled at E3
Post by: Subb on February 09, 2010, 06:21:11 am
Oh. Hell. Yes.

FA as the Emperor's Space Marines? (http://www.mmorpg.com/newsroom.cfm/read/16144/General-Warhammer-40K-MMOG-to-be-Revealed-at-E3.html/utm_campaign/MMORPG%20Newsletter/utm_source/MMORPG/utm_medium/email)

Sounds like a brilliant idea, but it wont be coming out for another 2 years.

Yeah it seem like a good concept, but I'm worried they will screw it up.

IGN have done a little article on the game. No details on the actual mechanics of the game or anything, though. (http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/107/1071607p1.html)

Sorry I know this is OT, but I've been wondering this for a long time...

Subb, what the hell is the statement in your signature all about?

....oh and Warhammer 40k mmorpg does look interesting.

They're lyrics from a Incubus song [well most of them] and I thought them fitting since we're 'Angels of Vengeance'. Simply putting it - my character goes for those who 'stray too far from the clouds' i.e. go rogue or bad etc. The tearing of wings is just a symbol that the person(s) who's gone bad has lost all ties to his or her good side [after being killed ;)]

I'm pessimistic towards the future of this one, it just sounds like something that will dye trying in my opinion.
