As of 09/09/14, the game is now live. Looking forward to seeing you all in-game.

Groups/Clans in Destiny can be set to work with both Xbox and PlayStation, so that's what I've done. No matter what console you're on, you can join.
Once you're added into the Group, you should see two options available on our Group page. One that says "Set as PlayStation Clan" and the other says "Set as Xbox Clan". Make sure you click the one (or both) for the console(s) you're playing on to add yourself to the Clan.

I'm on Xbox One. I just entered a drawing to win a beta key. Really wish online cross platform existed.

You could pre-order on Amazon to get a beta key. Amazon doesn't charge you until the game ships, but they send you the beta key almost immediately. You could cancel your order before ship date if you decided you didn't want the game and it wouldn't cost you anything.

I'll take one if you still got it. I wouldn't mind checking it out. I'd only be able to play a little in the evenings so if there's someone who would put it to better use, let them have it.

I downloaded last night. Be warned, it's 13+GB. and the file you get from the PS store is just the installer, the full 13GB gets downloaded / installed while the game is running, I had to leave my PS on overnight.
I was able to play for about 20 minutes this morning before I had to go to work, the graphics are awesome, the NPC's have an interesting AI, but their movements were very scripted. For example a lot of them would pop-out from cover on a very exact time schedule making it easy to "wait and shoot". On the upside, I only noticed this when I, myself kept in one location for too long.
I'm going to take a break from Watch Dogs for the night and play some more and report back.

I've been rotating through Watch Dogs, Skyrim (never finished it on my first playthrough), Rust, and Defiance. I'm kinda glad this one isn't for PC yet...haha.

If you go to the Group page (http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/139292 (http://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Detail/139292)), directly under where it says "The Furious Angels", there should be four options. "Interact", "Set as Playstation Clan", "Set as Xbox Clan" and "About".

Tec and I did the black garden mission for the queens wrath event.....it is very very rough.... That is the hardest one though so it should all be a cake walk from there. Lol

This looks like Halo on the moon. Isn't it supposed to be an MMO or something? Those clips look like your standard CTF mode. Is that just the player arena or something?

It's an FPS MMO set on a multitude of planets. It's pretty fun but I've only just finished the moon section so early days.
Quite like the limited interaction with folks ;)

Yes, all those clips are from The Crucible, Destiny's PvP multiplayer mode.

I honestly would prefer a PC version of the game, I am much better with a keyboard and mouse than a controller.

So I've decided to make some clips of the PvE gameplay since the DLC released 12/09. The DLC is intense. I'm going to try to get some clips of the new raid, but for now, here's a clip of me soloing the last DLC mission.
Some things to note: The sniper I'm using in the clip is the exotic weapon Ice Breaker. It only holds 6 bullets, but constantly regenerates a bullet every ~5 seconds. It also causes enemies to explode when killed. Enemies with yellow health bars are stronger. I'm also running with a class perk "Angel of Light", which allows me to hover in the air for a couple of seconds when I scope in midair.

So here's the new raid, part 1. Basically the goal for this part is to make it to the end of the labrynth, hold the circle platform at the end until the bridge is up, and cross it once it's up (only one person actually has to make it). While you're in the dark, a "Weight of Darkness" debuff stacks up to 10x on you, making you slower and unable to jump. At 10x you can't even sprint. The lamps along the way slowly remove the debuff, but then explode.
My loadout here was: Heavy weapon: Super Good Advice (Exotic). A high damage, poor stability machine gun that returns 4/5 missed shots back into the magazine.
Primary weapon: Fatebringer: My favorite hand cannon/weapon in general. Precision kills cause enemies to explode and drastically increases reload speed for a second.
Also, in Destiny you have a "Super" ability that charges with time & kills. I didn't use it in the previous clip, but I do in this one. My super allows me to self-revive after death, and grenades + melee ability regenerate a much faster rate while it's active.

PS. Xbox one has a recording limit of the past 5 minutes, so it starts in the middle of the action.

Here's part 3 of the raid. I'm skipping part 2 cuz we straight cheesed it and it's boring. Even though it's a really fun part normally.
The goal of this part is get up to the boss wizard and kill her, then clear out the remaining trash. As soon as you enter the area, she prepares her death song, and you have 3 minutes to kill her before everyone dies. You have to kill the wizards on either side to open the shriekers, then kill the shriekers to drop Deathsinger's barrier.
The clip starts near the end of a previous failed attempt. This part is probably the hardest part of the raid.

And here is the final part of the new raid. Crota himself. There's a few interesting mechanics to this fight.
First of all, Crota's presence prevents health regeneration. There is a chalice that one person can hold at a time that will allow their health to regenerate. By the time this video started, the chalice glitched out and was gone forever.
Secondly, when anyone dies, Crota summons the Oversoul which will kill the entire party if not destroyed in a few seconds.
Crota can only take damage from the sword, which is dropped by the sword bearer enemy. The sword only lasts about 30-45 seconds once he drops it. BUT Crota has a shield that has to be brought down via gunfire first so the sword can start doing damage. His shield is only dropped for a few seconds, so the timing is crucial.
OK that should be the basics you need to understand the fight. In this video, I'm filling the role of a sniper, making sure some particularly troublesome enemies are not around to shoot at our sword runner.
