Hello Operatives,

As you know, the Matrix Online has always been our home. This Friday we officially leave the nest, as MxO is shutting down. We have a reputation of being the best and doing it in style, and this Friday will be no exception! This will be the biggest FA event to date!

Around 10 FA members from all over the country will be gathering at my place in DC for a party to say farewell to MxO. If you aren't joining us in DC, no worries - we'll be spreading the party to all of you as the day and night progresses.

On the agenda is the unveiling of our newest (and last MxO-based) movie, which is promising to be the best one yet. The movie tells the end of the story for the Furious Angels and the Matrix. We also hope to share this with the public on Friday. We'll be in game and on TS most of the time. There will be pictures and maybe even a live stream, so jack in and join the fun!

If there's anything you'd like to contribute to the closing day, feel free to do so. Stories to end your character or end the Matrix or whatever you'd like, sharing screenshots, etc. It's been an amazing five years, and I'm very interested to see what the next five years holds!

For those of you attending in person, there should be plenty of food (pizza anyone?) and booze. I'm severely lacking in chairs and tables (as in I have none), so prepare to get creative. Our festivities will continue throughout the weekend, with the possibilities of DC sightseeing, bar-hopping, maybe a Matrix movie marathon - I'm open to suggestions! Please let me know your schedule and where you're staying and all of those important details (phone numbers if I don't have them). I have a huge living room with no furniture, so you can sleeping bag it at your own risk. Just be aware I have only one bathroom!

My dad suggested that I (we) go and see the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials, along with the Vietnam Memorial, the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, and basically anything on/in the Mall.

I'll be going to the Mall and possible the A&S Museum on saturday with my other friends... I was also thinking of going to a club on saturday night, but sub-21 year olds get nixed on that idea. =/

There is a pool here but you need some sort of pool pass? I dunno, it's outdoor so I've never used it.

Yeah, my plan was to take everybody to the mall and then maybe Adams Morgan or somewhere similar in the evening on Saturday.

Subb, have a Snakebite on Friday and get on TS. We should be around during the evening for you (afternoon for us).

T, if you still live at that apartment complex I picked you up from several months back then I can safely say that swimming in that pool would not be a wise decision.   Side note: My friends and I were kicked out of that particular pools years ago for disorderly conduct...lol...small world.
